Can you moderators give me a reason why inserting images is not allowed? and not the standard "to stop people from posting inappropriate stuffs", because that is bs and we all know it.

Pictures aren't banned from the forums, you just need to link to them instead.

The image tag was disabled in 2002 due to some considerable problems we were having on the forums. After the problems dissipated the admin decided to keep it this way since it didn't cause any major impositions and had some advantages with threads full of screenshots.

In the future if you have general questions about the forums like this it's best to post them in Community Discussion, although since this has been answered I'll just lock it instead of moving it. If you want a more detailed explanation or have any further questions send me a PM, I was a mod at the time.
