Pictures of Fallout 3 Characters #12

Nice.
Very nice, but you should have taken some Sativex first. It's not fear and loathing in the Capital Wasteland unless you're stoned out of your right mind. Plus, dogs can't talk unless you're stoned, right?
At least, mine hasn't.

My guys prefer psycho.

:D I need to install a pose mod.

The http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3284 just got updated a couple days ago and don't forget the http://fose.silverlock.org/. I use version v1.1 beta6 because I have the 1.5 patch.

I still think the best way is to use http://www.facegen.com/
I don't know if the free version causes any issues, as I use the paid version, but it allows a lot more freedom than the in game creation.
Then use http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4094 to import your creation into a saved game.

After reading this last night, I got the free version. I have found the skin color is different but at least it keeps the entire body of the character in the same skin color it's just different and I'm having a hard time getting it back to the original color which is more like the in game NPC's. Could this be caused by the free version or I just don't know what I'm doing yet?

What I did was take 3 shots from the GECK like this (I did Simms and Billy Creel last night):

http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/luc3.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/luc2.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/luc1.jpg

http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/billy3.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/billy2.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/gallery_HoT/albums/album121/billy1.jpg

When I did Billy I made sure each shot was similar in lighting but I don't think it helped. Here are the results:

http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr043.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr050.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr054.jpg (It's the blue nails on this one that bothers me about the skin color [it's really dark], any suggestions?)

http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr035a.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr039.jpg, http://www.ladymoiraine.com/modules/Gallery1_5/albums/album161/fsscr042.jpg
Aside from the skin color being too dark and dull, compared to Billy's in game skin color, I'm very happy with the results--the facial features really came out well! Thank you very much GrayeWolf for sharing those linkies. I had the Facegen Exchanger already and was using it to copy the face of a game character to a different character but I didn't need to do that very often. Using it to attempt to copy an NPC's face makes a lot more sense and is more challenging. I'm going to try Colin Moriarty next, thanks again for your links! :)

Here are some new screens of my new character, probably the most evil one I've made so far.

Also, I organized the heck out of my photobucket, so I could make it public. Unfortunately a lot of my previously posted screens have broken links now because of it, but if you feel like looking through my screens, please do! (link in sig)
AAAAAAAAAAND.... here are some wallpapers I made out of boredom... let me know what you think (criticism appreciated).

I'm not really sure how the free version affects skine tone in game. I do know that I've really only made caucasian characters so I can't help you with Sims. I do know that after importing the face I do go into showracemenu to tweak it a bit. I also tend to wear clothing that covers the seam up as the colors don't quite match properly....not sure at all how the game takes 1 body skin and applies a wide range of skin tones over it. It may also have something to do with using screenshots from the geck of game characters. I always use photos of real people usually just front views but profiles when I can find them.

Even though he really doesn't look much like him, the results out of facegen made an aesthetically pleasing face in game.

I would love weather mods like that if they also limited NPC vision as well... sadly they do not. Great shot though.

Dusty Sky seems to make it harder for foes to see me in the day time. At night I could be right next to them, sniffing their pockets for drugs, and they wouldn't see me. Outside, anyway.
It's so freaking dark at night, I have to use night vision to see the rock I'm trying to walk through, or my pip-boy light, but that's if I'm sure there is nothing nearby.

I have 80+15 sneak and 5 stealth shield. I can have the radio on, and the light, and they still wont notice me, lol. But I don't like to sneak around everywhere I go. I would like times when you can run right past someone and you both not even notice one another.

It took me 30 seconds to notice the outcast outside my house in fairfax, and if I hadn't stood around looking for dropped weapons, I would have never noticed him, nor him me.
Night time is so dark, that I can't see my hands when I punch someone.

Thought I'd take a trip from The Yard down to Meresti Trainyard via the rock face but I missed the red train car at the bottom. Cynna went splat

I just downloaded Wasteland Moods a little while ago. I chose the controller version so I can pick my weather :P That reminds me of the feature in Shivering Isles. I think it was a ring or something that allowed you to change the weather. Whether it was only for use in SI I don't remember.

Moira found Plunger's Paradise (near the Farragut West Metro), which meant more ammo. To see Miss B. blasting severed arms and legs from a cannon is more than a little terrifying.

"Oh, don't worry, Mr. Simms. They were gruesomely detached before my 21-gun salute!"

And to Jericho's sure horror, she attempted to take out a Super Mutant by firing a carton of cigarettes across the Potomac. What a waste! It's a good thing he wasn't there, or else the journey to GNR would have become a fishing trip.

"I wonder what kind of bait cigarettes like?"
"You betta' find out quick, or else we're goin' with my first suggestion."
"Fine, fine. We'll try the ant meat. I mean, I've kept most of my fingers this long, I'm not about to have 'em chopped off now!"
(Weh waaaaaah.)

Not much going on over here. Testing poses, that's about it. Oh and having fun in my own Silent Hell :P That's spooky as. All we need now is a static radio station and that horrid screeching noise. I only played the first one (and saw the movie) so that's all I know :)

Awesome screen shot! Really creepy if you think about it. I love silent hell too. Especially when I think I'm fine and I turn around just to have a deathclaw or supermutant right behind me!

That's spooky as.

hahahah, are you Australian? My aussie friend uses that expression all the time and I'm always like "as.. what?"
