How many hours does a save need to hold before it becomes corrupt? I vaguely remember it happening after a certain time in Oblivion. Does the same happen in Fallout? I hope not. Cynna has 110 so far. She's done every quest (oh except O:A and Blood Ties), is well over Level 30 at least (I don't have BS but use Freeplay After MQ and Max Level HP Workaround).
I guess we don't have a utility to check for/remove savegame bloat?
Sure, I can start her again but I don't know if I can be bothered :)

I have a game where I play as Moira Brown, equipped with a Rock-It Launcher. I got the grass mod (it's Summer 2.3 by Firestorm) yesterday. Moira was inside the elementary school when I loaded the game with the mod on for the first time. Walking outside was like that part in the film version of The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy first walks out of her house and everything is in gloriously lurid Technicolor!

Moira must have thought her experiments accidentally turned the world into Oblivion. :biglaugh:

Your main Fallout directory.

If he's on Vista they likely aren't in there, due to folder permissions.

They'll be in here:
C:\Users\"Your Username"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3

He'll need to first enable "Show hidden files and folders" in "Organize > View" or Folder Options.

In order to bypass Fallout 3 putting the files there in the future you need to do this as an Administrator:

1. Right Click your Fallout 3 folder (not the VirtualStore one, this one : C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3)
2. Click Properties
3. Click Security
4. Click Edit
5. Click your Username in the list.
6. Check Full control.
7. Click OK.
