Pictures Of Fallout Characters #15

Do you edit them? I particularly like the scenic one. :D

The last one made me laugh.

Quite! Although some are good enough alone without tampering, others I simply find need a few touches here and there to make them presentable or otherwise more eye-catching.

You should see what I do to the Enclave...

No, no, nothing like what you're thinking, comrade. I do respect the Enclave; I simply disagree with some of their methods. In fact, I even roleplay as a former Major and the "soldier" who's been tasked with tracking her down (two different characters, in case you're wondering.)

http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/3971/147awhellwhynot.jpg Gah, that's horrible, but it's all I have to showcase my mastery over the Powers of Funk.

My favourite place is Point Lookout. Every three days, or thereabouts, I head back over. It's not quite the same now that all the quests are completed but at least the enemies respawn :hehe:

Awesome character and amazing outfit. Is it exclusive or available for DL? :hubbahubba:

Thanks :)!!! Yeah the character itself is an exclusive for now Im still kinda working on it so mabey if I get him to look the way I want him to be I'll release him later on. I do want to release the outfit, but I'm still working on different colors and removing all the glitches and stuff. I'm trying to release it in such a way that people can combine different shirts with different pants, so you can dl it and still customize it yourself if you want to. But it takes some time to work everything out and make everything work properly so everyone, with or without modding skills can change their outfit in one simple click :)!

Good lord, I need my shades! You put my scenics to shame, for my computer is svck, and will not bloom properly. I cannot hope to compete in the sun, so I shall take to what I know best:

That's quite a collection! How's she coming along? :)

Yeah, she has a bit of OCD when it comes to always having "the right gun for the right job".

As far as Cerra herself... still struggling with a few tidbits, but for the most part coming along decently. I've had to "step away" from facegen on her for a while to try and get some perspective (and let the frustration dwindle down) -- so I've been focusing a bit on tightening up and retweaking some of my overall game environment (130+ mods in addition to my own tweaks and customizations - takes some work to make everything work together the way I want it to).

Hopefully this coming weekend I'll be working with her and some poses (time permitting). :)

Nice. :)

But now the other question... WHAT is that building?

I made it for the Flying Dutchman, then donated it to a project and now it's sort of moved.. Since the project is for someone privately, I have no idea if it'll ever be openly released..,
but it'll be on the Flying Dutchman for sure

As they say, "If you haven't got it, fake it." My PC, unfortunately, isn't as good as it used to be. Oblivion and Fallout 3 basically 'told it,' 'If you think you're that good try this!'
So, both images have been edited a little in Photo Impact. Either by adding a little more contrast, smoothing out the edges and a bit of desaturation. Very rarely does an image bypass Photo Impact and go straight online from my Fallout folder.

You can always rely on Star for beautiful scenic pics and awesome characters. :goodjob:

:ahhh: I love it! I'm glad you're letting us play with the outfit early! You make some nice stuff, Geonox! Planning on making anything else? :hubbahubba:

I'm guessing the problems are with clipping and rigging? That's generally what seems to go wrong with clothing mods.

Thanks!! :)

I'm using them all actually, I have created 40 total posters (about a dozen I have posted in these threads over time), and plan to make a couple dozen more over the next 6 months. I dunno why really, probably because its alot of fun to make them (I've never tried modding people), and I think the posters add alot of spice and flavor to the mod.

I find that just by adding 3 or 4 thematic-posters to a standard office room, it really makes me feel like I'm in what was once that place (before the war). I think of them now as Force Multipliers for level design in Fallout3, as I can take 100 or 200 standard objects, walls, ceiling, etc from Fallout3.esm and make the place look entirely new and better with a few posters. :) I'll keep posting them over time, I just didn't want to post too much in this thread as it's really supposed to be about characters - but there's no really Good thread-chain like this for non-people stuffs.

Cheers!

I have to say I really dislike many of the screenshots because of the over-futuristic weapons and armors. I really like much of vanilla and am only downloading texture upgrades and so-on. I don't want to tamper with the established setting.

No one's forcing you to look at the pictures or use the mods. Some people like the futuristic feeling that certain mods provide.

Duly noted, and duly ignored.

Why not just post pictures of the game featuring the aspects you consider worthy of appreciation, rather than issue your blanket disapproval of the screenshots in this thread?
