It's a glitch that occasionally happens, from what I've heard. It may happen to NPCs as well.

All I did was switch weapons, didn't even have it unholstered. It was persistent through save/reload, but thankfully was not through save/quit/reload.

It's even better when it happens to your head.


I only have eyes for the section 8 and crysis armors. I'm a power armor nerd.

Just my character. I made a new texture with more detail to the suit and a black stainless steel finish. Also match the color of the suit and helmet. One more thing, please don't ask for a release. I don't think it's legal. This is for my personal use only.

The mods cleaned house in one thread several threads back, and made the rules clear (read Rohugh's Rule in the OP).

The mesh is not new, but the texture is from scratch. Again, this is for my personal use. The textures (helmet, gloves, and suit) is not going public, so therefore, not a mod. I mostly do textures and I don't know anything about making meshes. =( Also, I don't know about the "Rohugh's Rule". If it's wrong to post the image here, tell me and I'll go ahead and delete. =)

Good point. I downloaded the mod at Nexus eons ago. For awhile, I was happy with it until I opened the textures in Photoshop. It was a mess (low res and lack details), so with multiple references (Thank you Al Gore for building the internet), I rebuilt it to my liking. Again, I have no intention of releasing this as a mod. It's for my personal use and that's it. Plus, I don't want the evil lawyers breathing down my neck. =P

but what if the mod is only for personal use are we still not allowed to post pics in the pics threads? is it OFFICIALLY against the rules to post pics in the pics section IF the mod in the picture uses models from another game even though the mod is ONLY for personal use? some of us a straight answer.

not trying to derail this thread but how are you going to get caught if the mod is never distributed? beth can say they dont want you to distribute mods that use forbidden content off of your PC BUT they cant say you cant make them at all for STRICTLY personal use considering its 100% unenforcable and sounds like they are stepping over certain boundaries and sounds like a rule that invades personal privacy.

MadCat is correct, sorry. Back when that suit came out we were all happily posting our images. Until one of the moderators informed us we can't. Images later on that were posted were promptly removed, either by the author or a moderator.

Give me a high powered computer, an Ini tweak guide, an hour or two, and this is what you get. That's the game loading 13 cells or areas or whatever they are called. I'm wondering if my computer can do more when I'm not running my grass and tree mod. hmmm *rubs chin*
