Pictures Of Fallout Characters No.29

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 7:13 am

Should've done this to start with, but just checking my fomod name and out of the two files on Nexus, it's this one I use - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7804.
Not too much fog, just a bit.

I always think those other guys are watching him in embarrassment, rather than anything else. One day there I walked into town and Cromwell was just wearing a party hat and nothing else. That was a bit weird. I do wonder what happened at the Underpants Party for him to remove his

@Miss Sparkle: It's bound to happen but it's strange when it does. Your character looks a lot like someone I know. Hair and all

I'll probably give it a try. Say, didn't you say you couldn't get those nice blue skies and rainbow skies? I wonder if this mod is what causes those nice skies to not show up, with the fog and all?

Wait --- he did that by himself  Must be something in the water

Meh. I'd like to start contributing here but it seems all my screenshots are saving.. strangely.

They look stretched out and come out in black and white. Plus they won't open in most of my programs other than Photoshop despite the .bmp extension.

http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt240/heythereCannibal/ScreenShot13.jpg

I'm running 16:9, 1366x768. Widescreen. Doesn't seem like my pictures should be coming out all stretched and black and white like that though.

Oh and if you look at the right side of my screenshot above, the left side was cut off and placed on the right side. Uhh..? :brokencomputer:

I don't why that's happening but if you can't get it fixed maybe you could try using a program like fraps to take screenshots instead.

Oh, thats lovely! :D

And I think I will try out FRAPS, I don't feel like spending three hours trying to figure out why Fallout hates me so much.

It's part of the http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1434.

Note: If you try the mod out, you'll probably need http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12339. I couldn't even load a game with that mod without the patch.

No, I never eve got rainbow skies with Fellout, even before using the fog mod. Maybe because I play on Medium settings? Maybe my graphics card isn't as cool as it was for Oblivion. I dunno.

Cromwell and all the other residents had no choice when Kat announced the party. I removed their old clothing (via the console) and replaced it with sixy sleepwear and a party hat. Unfortunately after 3 days (or 7.5 with FWE) they put their old clothes back on. Cromwell was the only one who didn't bother getting a new set of clothes, and once, removed them altogether.

Nothing new today. Well, not that I can show here, anyway :)

It could be. Though it is mid day and the sky is relatively bland anyway, it still looks the same. Just took these screenies not long ago.

And some small changes in the clothes dept.

And let's just leave it as you have an interesting way of playing Fallout 3 :P

They're pretty! But, my PC would die if I loaded up Summer, Green World, or even turned on grass  Well, it stutters more than usual with grass turned on, so I've had it off for ages, now.
When i upgraded my video card (specifically for Oblivion) I could finally play with grass on, and stretching further into the distance, but in Fallout I've oodles of other texture packs (such as Dirt Mud & Moss and some of NMC's landscape textures) as well as Fellout so I just leave it off. It doesn't look as nice as the grass in Oblivion, anyway.

Megaton is lucky, they have all their residents still there. Rivet City, on the other hand...their top security guy is with me and the rest are either at Paradise Falls (not merchants) or died a horrible death in the corridors.

Let's find a screenie or four to be on topic.

No, that's Charon. Stiggs and his robots had since made a run for it. The one on the floor is Clover. She was electrified, too, (that was hilarious!) and eventually passed out. Fawkes was the only one smart enough to stand well away from those barriers

What'd you do to Vance? If he had pointy ears he'd be an elf :P
There's a mod that changes Vance's coat to be much like Tenpenny's suit. That's pretty snazzy. Makes him more vampirish, too. I'm sure it's still on Nexus, somewhere. You'd find it faster than me :)

Oh, I remember that story. :lmao:

I wish I could take credit for fixing up Vance. (I want pointy ears for my character) Ling's Pretty Things did that to him. Actually, it was the main reason I installed the mod.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8938? Pics look pretty good but I like my vampires better. Holly is very pale and they all have red eyes.

Edit: There's also http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1326. Still prefer my Vance.

Not sure I care for that look. After all, they are humans. They just live an alternate darkness loving, blood drinking lifestyle.

No, it wasn't Better Family. It was well before the Pipboy PDA/Readius (in the images) was released or even in WIP.

No, it wasn't the second one, either. I'll see if I still have it.

I agree. They are human, so they should look human. Which make them even creepier, in my opinion.

same here..good picture but the wasteland isn't as open to fantasy as Oblivion or even Morrowind - it's a harsh world - no room for danty vampires B)

edit-
thou if a mod is out there that makes it where some human DNA was changed due to the rads..wait..why does that sound like a movie I once watched...interesting idea thou. Grr what movie was that lol

Alittle off topic but I found it. Great show fromt he 80s

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0394799/

Two men are stranded in a fallout shelter after nuclear holocaust annihilates the earth. The blanket of radiation over the earth soon gives rise to radioactive vampires and all that separates them is a five-digit code...

Tom Petty sang in his early 80's hit that "the waiting is the hardest part." Well, he must have been foreshadowing this episode. "The Waiting Game" is not big on physical horror, there's no blood or gore, but it is the best example of psychological terror that this series has to offer.

"The Waiting Game" does take a while before things start to happen. It greatly compensates for this by using the downtime to flesh out the characters and give you reasons to care about them. The scenes where Lt. Tyler and Lt. Knox regale each other with anecdotes about their childhood is a very nice touch and adds a lot of realism to the characters. Their reactions seem reasonable and appropriate from the despair of Capt. Garza to the budding friendship of Lt. Tyler and Lt. Knox down to the fear and claustrophobia of the other remaining officer. It also uses this time to build the overall mystery of whether or not there are survivors.

I did have a problem with them going outside to chase after someone one by one. Those moments had a bit of that cheesy let's-split-up-and-go-find-them quality of bad 80's horror flicks. It doesn't really hurt it much though. Extra brownie points go to the writing team for doing enough research to name a real Air Force base during the course of the episode.

If you thought "Glim-Glim" was bleak and depressing, you ain't seen nothing yet. Nothing about this episode is upbeat; they manage to blow up the world in the first two minutes. As if that weren't enough, they give you an ending which is just absolutely unforgettable. It doesn't even have to follow through with the whole ending. It's well-implied and well-understood that he's royally screwed.

It has good makeup effects. They really try their hardest to make the vampires look scary and while they're not scary enough to give you night terrors, they did a commendable job with what they had. The sets look pretty nice too. The inside of the shelters look good and the login computer screen at the entryway looks pretty advanced for the early 90's.

"The Waiting Game" is a very well-rounded episode. It has good characters, great story, and one of the most powerful endings of the series. It really set the bar for season three and sadly, the fifteen-or-so episodes to follow would not measure up.
