Hey, I recognized Germantown. What caught my eye is the light coming through the ceiling. I can't remember anywhere else in the game that has that effect.

Remember that thread in the Fallout GD a while back? The one where we would try and guess where the pic was taken? That was fun.

My new character - Chasity, who forsakes the use of Guns and Energy Weapons, as she finds them awkward to use, instead prefering the feel and looks of various melee weapons and the grenades.

This is her in her special bunker underneath her megaton home, she couldn't save lucas simms from burke however, so she keeps his Duster in a special closet, and is currently using the hat to protect her face from the sun.

The damn bunker is so huge- has so many containers and rooms its awesome, spent ages running round it, rounding things up and stuff hehe.

Forgot to mention shes an Android (FWE Alternate Start)

Shes an advanced model of what harkness and Armitage are (to explain growing up/Vault 101 knowing you etc)

Doesn't greenworld (the mod I assume that you're using) cause a bit of an FPS hit?

Depends on your system i guess.I run it also. Everything on high. Get some lag here and there but nothing game breaking.

I'm actually using http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10100. I'm also using NMC's texture performance pack, and with those two there may be a little bit of a fps hit when new cells are loading, sometimes it'll go down to 20-30 fps but not often. But that is measuring with fraps, and fraps itself causes a fps hit. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I installed Summer before NMC's texture pack, I don't recall many fps hits at all really.

I just wanted to pop onto this thread to tell everyone that your images are fantastic! There's some really good and creative art work to be found here.

Hopefully I'll be able to contribute some screen shots of my own before a whole lot longer. I took the plunge and got myself a gaming rig - these images, plus all your descriptions of the mods available for FO3, plus the arrival of New Vegas soon, convinced me it was time to leave the XBox behind and step up to the PC version. I'm hoping my new computer will be ready by Friday, and I've already ordered the PC GOTY version. Can't wait to get my grubby little mitts on it ... :drool:

Of course, once everything arrives I have to install the vanilla GOTY, get it tweaked and running good, relearn the gameplay mechanics, pick out whatever mods I want to use, and then figure out how to use them and make them play well together on the new machine. I'll try to read the forum and other available resources as much as I can to figure out what I'm doing, and I'll try not to pester you all too much with a bunch of questions.

So it'll be a bit of time before my first images start showing up here. Hopefully they'll be up to the standards you folks have set.
