Why would I put .223 into That Gun? That stuff is crummy bulk ammo for the 5.56mm and will wear it out. Put some 5.56mm hollow-points or APs into it and fire away.
Though right now I'm probably gonna go to town with my 10mm SMG since I'm rather flush with standard ammo. The two 10mm guns aren't peashooters anymore like they were in FO3, they're very nice early guns and still hold up in mid-level.
Indeed. And yes, I will say that I'd prefer to use hollow-points and armor piercing rounds for it once I get it. Right now I'm using a .357 Magnum Revolver, but I should probably switch to my Weathered 10 mil for my pistol hotkey and use the .357 ammo for my Cowboy Repeater instead. I'm also using a Service Rifle (Basically an M-16A1 set to semi-auto and has a wooden stock, wooden handguard, and wooden pistol grip) and I recently attached a night-scope to my Varmint Rifle. I wanna try to save 5.56 ammo for when I can actually afford a That Gun.
I also have a 10mm SMG just in-case. What can I say? I'm a gun lover. 9mm isn't powerful enough for my tastes, though, so if I pick up any, I either drop, or trade it in for caps. I definitely agree about the 10mm statement. And they actually finally sound and feel powerful, unlike in FO3. In FO3, unmodded as we all know, it sounds like you're indeed firing peas at tin cans instead of sounding like it can actually blow people's faces off, and they weren't all that powerful. XD I'm trying to treasure my Weathered 10 mil and try not to use it too much. I love my Classic Pack so much that I'm treating it like my own baby, I hope that's not considered too sad... :S
(I hope I don't sound ignorant...)
