Pictures of FONV Characters #2

Lawlzors
How did you do that?
:chaos:

First I picked up the head and moved it around until it was roughly facing my character. Then I opened the console and selected the head. Then I typed "tai" to freeze the head in place. Then I used a pose from http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35825 and moved my character into the right place and activated the pose. I'm not going to lie, it was a huge hassle to go back and forth between the console, typing "tfc" over and over, moving my character, activating the pose, reseting the pose...

But the end result was worth it! :disguise:

Jane finally made it to New Vegas and found a brand new toy.http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/94/enb2010116191330.png

It was a royal PITA getting it into the game (modders resource, and i'm not very good with the GECK), but well worth it.

Anybody know any good spots on/near a cliff face that looks over the desert towards the city? I want to put a camp in a place like that.

Journal Entry: Day Three

"I'm still no closer to finding the men who shot me and took my delivery and my gear. Why'd I leave the Capital Wasteland? I had good things going for me there. The Mojave's far more civilized, don't get me wrong. But there's something dishonest about the whole place. Nobody's exactly who they appear to be. Still, the NCR at least let me get some rack time at their Mojave Outpost overnight. But with the rising on the sun, it's time to http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/GuardConvoy/WoW/ScreenShot23.jpg."

Journal Entry: Day Three Extension:

"The damn Rest Area between the Outpost and Nipton - where the NCR Troopers said I could take a break - was infested with Raiders! From the looks of things they were part of the Jackals. From what I hear, they're down on their luck lately and boy does it show. Not that I had an easy time of it, http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/GuardConvoy/WoW/ScreenShot27.jpg. The leader of the group actually was a mean son of a [censored], but had no concept of http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/GuardConvoy/WoW/ScreenShot28.jpg. Needless to say, http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/GuardConvoy/WoW/ScreenShot29.jpg.

Thankfully, the Raiders had a spare suit of armor. It's no Power Armor, but it's a helluva lot better then a thread bare, patchwork leather jacket. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/GuardConvoy/WoW/ScreenShot31.jpg"

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/4418/brickwithaxe.jpg Brick got his name because he's big, tough and likes smashing things. He also enjoy the occational http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/9814/brickexecution.jpg every now and then.

He's basically by "Kill people and [censored] around" character, though I'm planning on actually siding with the Legion on him and maybe finishing the game that way. Thing is though, he's got 2 INT. :P
Memorable Brick quotes include:

"Me need food to fill belly, you got food?"
"This not big shiny juicemaker?"

And who could forget:

"Huh?"

EDIT: Yes, he did in fact take that helmet from a Super mutant. And his armguard still has traces of Raider face on it.

I must say I am digging Brick's outfit there, especially the Super Mutant helmet in combination with the scarf. As far as his memorable quotes, does your dialogue change depending on your intelligence like in Fallout 1&2? My character has above average INT so I wouldn't know.

settled on this character for the last two games, more of a "road warrior" type thing (more fitting for a courier than someone with big hair and a fancy frock)

http://lh3.ggpht.com/_CVpqbIvURSM/TNfDobvmimI/AAAAAAAAACU/BmTAy7oCXdw/niamh.jpg

Yeah she's got a shaved head, which is more realistic and I couldn't find a good dreadlock model on the nexus. And those sunglasses are for desert-blindness (I was looking for welding-goggles, if anyone knows of a model for those...)

Couldnt you just get someone to reskin the goggles that are in the game alreday? (i know we have welding goggles that look like those bikergoggles they have in the game, but with black glass)

Just one. My poses aren't working so I have to use other people's. Hopefully the Groovatron is made/converted for this one. I miss the long reach button most of all :P

It's a bit sporadic, it seems the feature was only half implemented. Some times I speak perfectly fine, other times Brick will say things like "Me angry now, me smash you!" or "Who the Flowers of pock and lips?"
I just roleplay that he's gotten severe brain damage from the gunshot wound, which causes him to sometimes just lapse into a braindead state :P Other times he suddenly says something extremely elegant, the Wild Wasteland perk helps make his unpredictable mental state more fun.

I'm really happy with his outfit, the Metal armor hardly clips at all with those two tire shoulders, and the scarf, helmet and armguard fit perfectly. The result is one badass looking armor. Brick used to be part of a tribe where they made their armor out of torphies of their fallen foes, he was named after the weapon he used for his first kill. The NCR eventually wiped them out because they were too agressive, so now Brick hates them and works with the Legion. He recently turned in 50 dogtags after turning camp forlorn hope into a graveyard.

This character is fun.

And it looks like Smert is trying the FO3 way of dealing with Deathclaws too... :P

You kill them from afar with overwhelming firepower without them knowing until the shot impacts their head. Basically, an anti-material rifle or a gauss rifle to the head via sneak attack. Regular charge is sufficient for sneak attack headshots on the GR on Normal difficulty, not sure about any specifics on the AMR.

Hmm, speaking of Deathclaws, I wonder how my huge tribal warrior will handle them with his trusty fire axe.
