Pinewatch (Adaara Elaniil)

So I've recently purchased an Xbox 360 and a copy of Skyrim. I have to admit, I'm pretty excited to be in Skryim again.

So, after doing the usual jig and escaping Helgen, I decided to go exploring

After about 15 minutes of roaming the map, I found myself at a place called Pinewatch. I hadn't remembered this place from my previous playthroughs so I decided to explore it.

I have to say, I really liked this location for a new character to explore. Keep in mind my character is fairly weak at level 4. She's an Altmer Survivalist.

Still, this was a fun and challenging experience for me after coming back to Skyrim.

What are some of your more cherished first experiences in Skyrim?

The first time I realized that instead of dreading having a dragon drop down on me, I was eager to have such an event occur. If my character was Jewish, it would have been equivalent to his/her Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Im not sure if its nostalgia or if the games just that good but I'm having loads of fun just wandering the map.

Hmmm... The first time I successfully passed entirely through Embershard mine, stole their "treasures", picked their pockets, and they never even knew I was there was a terrific feeling. Then there was the first time a giant sent me into orbit... I felt like the drunk guy in Oblivion: "Flyyyyying" "I'm flyyyyinnngggg....." :D

...and once, Skyrim went off its rails and a deer near Riverwood was my buddy for a while without having put a spell on it or anything.

Y'know I almost forgot to mention perhaps my favorite. I went into Bloated Man's Grotto for the very first time, The sheer beauty was incredible, and I felt it was a mysterious, enchanted, and altogether wonderful place - at least until all those critters started trying to kill me... ;) Honestly, I had a wife like that once. She was beautiful, mysterious, enticing, and her charms were completely enchanting... but she was dangerous and deadly as well, so I love her still.
