Pink Stats?

I've been working my first dungeon (now I remember why I never finished this game when it came out) and just noticed that all my stats are pink and lower than they should be. Did I contract some kind of disease?

That sounds like what it would be. Odd that every single one of them is affected, though; that would mean you have multiple diseases, since no one reduces all of them at once. Press "i" and click through the first thing that pops up, and a second one will come up that tells you if you have a disease and, if so, which one(s).

EDIT: Looking at UESP, there's two, cholera and leprosy, that drain all of them. Definitely want to get those cured quickly, too...

Good heavens. My first EVER quest this time around and I get cholera and/or leprosy? Man... This is gonna be a long ride. I had to dump all of the excellent armor I found and can't collect any more gold (I had forgotten that gold weighs and didn't put what little I did have in the bank before I set off).

When you go outside the dungeon, does it reset? Seems to me the first time around, I got a wagon that I could go outside the dungeon and dump loot into. But Like I said, it's been a LOT of years ago. 15?

It's one of the reasons I love this game - it has a lot of challenges, but not overwhelming ones, so there's always something to come back to. ^_^

Yes, the dungeons do reset when you leave them entirely. The game lets you access your wagon without leaving said dungeon when you use the exit, though, presumably for precisely that reason. :)

Thanks for the accurate advice. I did have leprocy. I tried to continue finishing the dungeon but my health points declined to 15. It was impossible. I finally reloaded back to before the quest. I think I'll only take quests that are simple to start with until I build up my gold enough to get a wagon, heal spell, and a few other things before I tackle these monsterous dungeons.

I guess I got used to Oblivion where the monsters level up with you. Man... I'm a whimp. *laughs*
