Pip Boy app failing to connect from ipad

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 12:37 pm

What's the fix for when the pip boy app gets stuck at the scanning for devices screen? I have an android phone with operating system 4.1.2. I've tried all the other suggestions for rebooting and toggling on and off the pipboy app setting in the game. I have also allowed all smart glass connections. My phone connects with smart glass, but the app does not connect. It just scans for devices indefinitely.

My wife's HTC one m8 connects with no issues. It has android 5.0.1 I think.

SO rather than being rude it is possible just to say that you tried this method and it didn't work for you. I'm not the source of your frustrations, so take it easy. This method didn't work for me either on my android tablet, HOWEVER it did work for a huge majority of the people who were having this issue which is why I posted it from an outside forum.

This worked for many people but not all.

I have A Samsung GS5 (phone android lolipop), Galaxy Note 10.1 (Tablet android kitkat), and Google Nexus 6P (phone android marshmallow). I can get both phones to connect and work for a short time, then the app disconnects. I can reconnect it, but it disconnects again after a few mins. The tablet starts searching for my Xbox One perpetually. I have Fallout 4 for Xbox One, and on Steam for PC if you'd like me to test anything to help troubleshoot the issues. My home network is gigbit, and my wifi coverage is full across the whole house, so it's not a bandwidth issue.
