Where did you find the other pipboy game names?

I'd also love the app to have "iOS scrolling" in the lists - the item lists, the stats lists, etc. I love iOS scrolling / panning, I find it absolutely perfect. When I was trying various tablets before deciding to buy an iPad, the way that all other tablets scrolled with a hard stop drove me nuts.

Within the data files of the app. There's all sorts of goodies in the app's files.

Mostly all the Vault Boy animations, which I really love. The cool thing about them is that they're all vectors - unlike raster images (JPG, PNG, etc), they can be scaled as large as you want - and they're all simply black and white. The green coloring and the scanlines are added afterward.

There's Vault Boy animations for all the major quests, including Main Quests, Faction Quests and Misc Quests.
There's Vault Boy reading animations for all the Skill Books.
There's Vault Boy animations for all the Perks.

There's the map texture.

And all the sound effects.

Images for all the weapons and all that stuff... I wonder if that data is going to get streamed to the app during gameplay.

Oh, and all the icons for the map :D

I love anything that has to do with UI and iconography.

Very cool, this app makes it so much easier to get this stuff than it was in Skyrim.

Is the map as packed as Skyrim's map was?

I don't have the actual placements, only the icons that get placed.

Spoiler
The logos of the Pip-Boy Minigames. This is a minor spoiler. Hope this is okay to post this. Please delete it if it's not okay.

Been going through it a bit and its a neat look at what to expect from the Pip Boy in-game. Don't see myself actually using the app over the in-game one, but a nice gimmick none the less.

Wow.. as a person who really only uses their phone for music, occasional googling and an actual phone. That app drains my batter fast. *slurp, slurp, slurp*.. It's like it drinks battery juice through a straw. I doubt I'll be using it for anything. Plus. droid mini is small, screen is small. .. won't really be all that useful when I'm playing the game.

Most every app gets an OSi release first he just can't find it. I went through two false "pipboy" apps before i found it. The launch day app, the pipboy clock app

I just checked it out on my iPad Mini. It's about the right side as a companion accessory. The menus' text are big and easy to tap. I hope we can have the map open while playing. I will definite try it out.

I'm ready. C'mon Steam, let us pre-load this weekend.

iOS is trash. You can use your iphone, or your iphone. But you can also use your iphone.

Android is on hundreds of different phone makes and models that you can be unique.

iPhone users are like Blockbuster customers. They just hung on to what little life it had left while everyone else that wanted freedom and choices had gone elsewhere.

^ This. I had totally forgotten about it until reading your post, but I definitely got that 15x damage perk and it was soooo worth it.

I too hope backstabbing is a nice alternative method to sneaking and killing. It would really come in handy in tight indoor areas.

I love the app, and I will use it a lot for notes and audio recordings and games. For instance if I go to the bathroom or other room I still could manage some parameters, look map change apparel or just play red menace instead candy crap. And radio!!! Best app ever. You could have a shower with Bethesda music on radio

That downloaded very easily, usually I've got to endure a fight with app downloading. I'm taking that as a good omen

I think I am most excited by what seems to be a return to modular armour. I.e. we seem to be able to change individual arm, leg, chest armour etc plus wear clothes underneath.

It's out on Apple's App Store.

You need to search:

Fallout Pip-Boy

(Fallout 4 doesn't find it ...)
