Boy, I feel like I might be asking a dumb question. I purchased the Pip-Boy edition for PC from Amazon, and it arrived today, but I can't for the life of me find the Steam key. Is it somewhere non-obvious, or did I get ripped off?

Check any paperwork that came with the disc, or look for a sticker inside the case.
I don't know first-hand (I only have a digital copy right now.) Usually what you need is the code found either on the installation CD or the manual (I've seen them variously on the inside front page of the manual or more often on the back cover.) Or I have seen them printed inside the case (or behind the CD.) Sometimes there's even an insert in the case, but I don't see that terribly often.
Just offering some locations off the top of my head, though.
Yeah, there's nothing in the case or on the CD, and it didn't come with a manual for the game (it came with one for the Pip-Boy, but there's nothing in there either). Thanks for the help though. I'm fishing for someone who also has the PC pip-boy edition and/or tech support (since I tried to get support and was ushered to the forums).
This thread is talking about delayed Pip-Boy editions due to issues with product code:

Maybe you can petition gamesas customer service to send you one via E-mail? Should have something verifiable- like a digital receipt or serial # so that they know you have the real deal.
