Well, Todd did say that the app itself was coming to Iphone and Android, so one would assume both would fit.
EDIT: My bad, Iphone and Android are OS's. Sorry 'bout that, phone geeks.
Android isn't a phone. Android is a system used by hundreds of phones of different sizes.
Can any of you phone junkies identify the exact model of phone used in the screenshots of the open pip boy. That should narrow down the size range.
After closer examination of that screenshot I don't imagine the pip boy could even accommodate a phone any bigger than the model that's in there. It seems to be the maximum fit available.
I thought there was some mention of iphone to samsung galaxy sized phones being able to fit due to styrofoam blocks or something. Todd Howard mentioned it during the expo I believe when talking about the pipboy edition.
I believe Todd mentioned that it comes with 5 foam blocks. 4 cut to the size of the 4 most popular phones and one that you can cut yourself
And to think I Will probably take that into account as one of the criteria for the choice of my next phone... how silly is that?
Does anyone know what batteries the Pip Boy uses? How long can we play before having to change them? And how quickly will this drain our phone batteries as well?
I got my preorder for the Pip Boy edition on Amazon. Does this also come with a lightning plug in? Wondering how you are supposed to *insert* you phone into the Pip Boy since each phone has a different charging port.
You don't plug the phone into the Pip-boy...
I'm willing to bet that it won't accommodate phones that are bigger than the typical flagship phones and the biggest it will allow is the LG phones. If it ranged from iPhone 5 to Note 4 the pip-boy screen would start to look pretty weird.

I'm just unsure what size screen would be perfect for the pip boy screens aspect ratio. Haven't seen too many phones that fit the screen shown off at E3
I might get a cheap phone or use my old phone for it. When I hold the Note Edge up to my arm I just don't see it happening.
I spent money I shouldn't have on the PipBoy Edition for the PipBoy because I've always wanted one, and I did so knowing I most likely wouldn't get to use it because of my Windows Phone, and I still will probably just leave it on its stand to glare at rather than selling it.
Thank you for the kind correction, sir. But how about actually trying to answer his question?
Now, as for the question: Just as long as it isn't gigantic, it should be fine.
For those of us with a phone - it'll fit fine.
For everyone who is carrying around a brick, you might be SOL
