Pip-Boy screw up by Because

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 6:44 am

So at E3 on Sunday night Bethesda announced the Fallout 4 Collectors Edition with a Functioning Pip-Boy. The CE's were sold out before Monday night. Monday. Night. It's Wensday and there is no Pip-Boys for people who aren't ebay Douchbags trying to sell it for nearly $300. There was no opportunity for people with JOBS to get it at a reasonable time. And people are already selling it on eBay! Bethesda needs to figure out that true, loyal fans of Fallout want these and not Ebay [censored] who want to get rich by selling it. If there isn't gonna be anymore I'll just wait untill Fallout hits the discount rack because that is what they deserve if they do this.

So they're sold out, how many were bought by actual fans versus those looking to make a profit from impatient idiots? Are they sold out largely because of genuine fans? Because I doubt eBay profiteers are responsible for them selling out already.

ITs honestly WAY WAY WAY too early to even start thinking about pre ordering or supply and demand. Most of the time, "limited" pre orders are usually "short on stock" by artificial means. Dont worry. Come release day, there will liekly be plenty of them in stock.. at the stores.

Since the game was only announced a few days ago, retailers may nto even know how many they have in stock, if even yet, dont panick, just wait and check major retailers...

Not even sure how people can sell something on Ebay when its not even out yet? lol.

if 10,000 people wanted them and there were only 1000, does than mean 9000 people were too slow and don't deserve one?

Pretty much?

Are you expecting there to be investigations done into everyone who preordered to find out who should get them?

It's not a matter of deserving one; they ran out of them. There will most definitely be more before the release date comes around.

nope, it was only a question to respond to the rude people. i have been googling fallout 4 everyday for the last 6 months waiting for news, then i was waiting for them to announce a collectors edition but i was at work and totally missed out. i'm an obsessed life-long fan of the game. i wish they could just make more for people who want them. idc about the rarity or resale value. i just want the loot. i shouldn't miss out because i'm unlucky. i hope you're right about having more later, but the gamestop people aren't so optimistic. i'm not saying i personally deserve one, but a lot fans of the franchise deserve one, including me.
