No. You could always just use a notepad to keep a character diary though. Your idea's nice for PC users, but less useful for keyboard-less console players.

In which case it's up to you to decide what is and isn't worth taking note of.

You mean, you'd like to keep notes on your PIMP BOY, right?

I do agree. Sometimes I'd like to be able to keep track of stuff on my pimpboy other than quests and notes. I keep a notebook next to me whilst gaming but if I'm drunk then that means little the next day.
The quest from that vault full of sacrifices? No idea. what I did in vault 3 to make them hate me? no idea. What *exactly* I did to make veronica love me? No idea. What happened between boone and I that one night at gomorra? No idea. Much like real life, really, only a bit more violent. Notes and memos on what *HAS* happened, would be great.

Or maybe I should stop gaming drunk.

It would not be that hard if you had a keyboard attachment for the 360 controller

Because everyone wants to hold a controller, bulked up with a lousy keyboard, with small keys, to try and write down notes constantly.
As said before, best idea is seriously, just keep a notebook. You can't rely on a videogame to let you do everything. We saw what happened when that was tried (Prototype) and it turned into the most repetative thing ever. The important notes you need to know are kept in the pipboy. If you need other stuff, get a pen and paper.
