Pipboy display to large for screen.

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 1:16 am

So when I bring up the pipboy it fills the whole screen to the point that I can not see the top of it. I can't select through the tabs at the top of the screen. I changed resolution size and same issue.

How can I fix this and is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm on the PC (obviously) and have the pipboy edition but made sure the pipboy app is turned off. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I did check.

I had this bug two days ago. Deleting INI-files didn't work, so I ended up deleting the installation and restore from Backup.

Yesterday I experienced similar kind of bug, then weapon dissapeared and i could only see Pipboy's bottom screen. Something Zoom's the view point too close. Scrolling the mouse wheel back works.

I have this bug, too. I don't have the pipboy-edition, so I think it has nothing to do with it.

Scrolling back doesn't work for me, neither right-klick.

But when I'm using the power armor, the pipboy displays in a good size. After getting out of the power armor: same problem as before.

I'm not about to uninstall and re-install the game. took me forever to download it the first time.

Scrolling the mouse wheel does not work for me. but it is zoomed in way to close. But like Hutti stated, when in power armor it displays just fine.

It has to be some sort of zoom setting but I can't figure it out. I can right click the mouse and move my arm so that the display does fit the screen. but when I release the right mouse button it goes back to the way it was.

Thanks to the guys at globalgameport:

For me the following worked: open console, type "fov 80 90" . fov stand for "field ov view". The first parameter influences the pip boy, the second the personal view in the game.
