I am not. It has zero value for a man of my age (41) and id rather have a lighter or an ashtray.

Im sure my 12 year Old would find it amusing though. If there Are in game bonuses that compensate, Ill buy it. Alternately, Id prefer a more "advlt" special edition.

Thanks for the link... Now I'm just worried it's a limited number of them... I mean, I understand the idea of "Collector's Edition" but still, it would be nice if it is a limited time special ordeal, not limited stock... Mostly because I won't be pre-ordering until a bit later on in the summer and don't want it to run out of stock by the time I can pre-order.

Check out the E3 video when you can, it shows you what you get (a functional, wearable PipBoy device). The PipBoy is a phone holder; there will be a Fallout 4 app for your phone that allows you to use the phone/Pip Boy device to navigate the menu system in the game seamlessly.

BestBuy is out of the Windows PipBoy Edition now too.

Regular copy of course, i only buy collector's edition if it contains anything i will use at least from time to time.

I hold little to no interested at all in anything outside of the base game and it's potential content.

Its a glorified phone case.

I love Fallout. I love collectors editions. Easy decision.

I just pre ordered mine.

I want to get the pipboy edition but Bethesda is another company that thinks no one has a Windows Phone so I guess im forced to not get it.

I will pre-order the collector's edition if it gives my Hoovy a Genuine Tunnel Snakes Jacket in TF2 for doing so.

Actually nevermind, because eventually I'd be able to trade like 2 refined metal for one.

Is the pipboy any good without a smartphone?

I pre-ordered mine yesterday. Amazon sold out this morning on all platforms, though now I see it back.

I did amazon last night after there conference. Gamestop doesn't have it up yet. I went to talk to my local store. There not sure when you can preorder it.

Still no Norwegian price tag... and no price info on Norwegian websites. Oh well.

The more I think about it the more I feel like I shouldn't get it. From what I can tell there isn't too much stuff besides the pipboy, and the price that some websites at least seem to be speculating, is even higher than what the CE for Skyrim cost, and that one had an artbook and all sorts of other goodies. So yeah, it seems less tempting the more I think about it.

I only want CE's content for display, not to use them.

$60 for a plastic Pip Boy doesn't do it for me. I'm old enough to know my own patterns - I'd be excited for a few minutes then it would sit on a shelf until I throw it away in 15 years.

Well regardless of what I currently think about the game....if it actually worked without having to put a smartphone in it maybe.So no.

I'm planning to get an Xbox One but my sister's fiance ended up pre-ordering the PS4 version of the Pip-Boy edition for me due to the Xbox One being unavailable... He plays on the PS4 so the game itself will be his but the Pipboy will be mine. So this means I just need to buy the normal game itself for myself on the Xbox One when I can...

So... I'm getting a Pipboy <3

Also that green color interface...the first thing i do before starting a new game in Fallout 4 will be changing HUD and pipboy interface color from green to white.
