Piper quest crashed, need help

Post » Sun Dec 20, 2015 12:50 am

So i started the quest for the companion Piper.

I got her into the city, but then i only got the conversation "a bit busy"

I did some consolecommands (like the noob idiot i am), and now i'm afraid that the piper quest and compaionship is busted :(

I did the "complete quest" command hoping that she would just appear as a companion, but now i can't talk to her, and i have no quest.

Didn't work to reset the quest either.

is there anyone out there who knows of a way i can get her to my side so to speak?

i'm sort of in a "compleating" mindset, and this just pissed me off :(

Did you save before you attempted completequest? Go back to that save and do resetquest instead.

Which quest are you talking about?

Did not save before i did that (again beeing the idiot) but i did try the reset quest before i did the compleate quest thingy.

The next quest i had was to find her at her home, but when i got there she was not in the house. i did find her, but all i got was the "a bit busy"

Nevermind.

I think you need to know the number of the quest in order to advance it via console command, but i don't recall off the top of my head. Try to leave for a few days and come back.

So you seriously have NO save before you reached Diamond City? How is that possible?
