Note: If you wish to join please pm me your character sheet. For those who have joined you may change your character before you post since its been so long. New people the recruitment thread is http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1021566:

Okay im taking over the thread (permisson from faldom) so here's the story as you remeber it's in the 4E 119:

It is the fourth era, year one hundred nineteen, technology has advanced and a new technology is catching on such as pistols and other such firearms. On the continent of Tamriel, a full recovery has happened and the continent is at a rather solid state. But, as the populace rises, so does crime. And the bandits of the sea, Pirates, are stronger than ever. They come in and take all that they desire, and at the same time all the plundering, killing, and stealing they could ever hope for.

But not every thing is rivers filled with gold for the pirates. A new force has risen in command of the imperial legion and he looks to eliminate the pirates from the sea, this man goes by the name of Tyroni Lusius. He proves a threat like none the waters has ever seen as he battles ship with the upmost powerful ship and can command naval units as well as a man who has served the imperial legion for more than 30 years. Dark times are ahead for you and your shipmates. Are you ready?

Opening post/intro:

The wind of adventure filled the air as the taste of life and death fell on the tongs of the people standing there. It was anvil, the port of cyrodil. And the last city before the Abecean sea. Pirates and sailors alike all stopped here together to before braving the fearful waters of the sea. Ships would line up along the port everyday for refitting, all the way from the small dingys..... to the large and intimidating ships. These are the ways of anvil now, as it had gone from a small dock on the end of the abecean sea to a gigantic port that rested on cyrodils ends.

But enough about Anvil, it's time to talk about you. You have just joined a pirate crew, and the captain has just bought a boat. You are all ready to start your journey and are meeting at the flowing bowl. When you arrive to meet the captain you expect to see a giant ship that looms over the all of anvil. But when you arrive you instead find a ship so small you start to wonder if your bedrooms are the packing crates. After seeing this you head inside to talk to the captain to see whats up.

OOC: Make sure you stock up on food before we leave or else you'll have to eat shavir's goo suprise.

Opening post/intro:

The wind of adventure filled the air as the taste of life and death fell on the tongs of the people standing there. It was anvil, the port of cyrodil. And the last city before the Abecean sea. OOC: This is where we begin my crew mates. Don't worry are boat will get bigger with time. But for now we have a bit of a problem, are boat is missing both a kitchen and a cannon room. Both are crucial without a kitchen we will have to stop constantly for food and supplys, but without a cannon room if we are attacked we will have no way of defense other than letting them board us and we will have to fight them off. Both cost 400 gold and we only have 400 gold in ship funds, what will we do?

OOC: Right..... okay then i just added quests now we don't have to do these and yes we do have are own objectives to do but im going to explain these side quests. Okay doing a quest works more like a side quest and there are two types of quests. There are RP quests and non rp quests, RP quests will require us to drop what we are doing and go to a a ceartin island or part in the abecean sea and rp there until the job is done. Non rp will work like they don't even exist when someone agrees to do it, a time limit will start which means if it take 5 hours to do and we started at 10:00 am we will get the reward at 3:00 pm. The reward will be given to us in amounts and i may add or take away according to your involvement.

The redguard sat nervousley at the table. It had been several days since he had agreed to go through with this, but at the same time he had a bad feeling inside the pit of his stomach. He felt somewhat lost. "How could he be a captain" was the thought that ran through his head. He had never really been anything else in his life, and now this was his time to be in charge. His time for others to look up to him. And now he sat there looking for the other crew mates.

Gregory sat in the corner of The Flowing Bowl, his hat pulled low and a smile playing on his lips. He watched the Redguard sitting at the bar, he was fidgeting and he looked nervous. Gregory ordered another rum and waited for it to come.
While he waited he observed the Redguard some more. He was looking around, obviously waiting for someone.

Now where is that rum?

Gregory pulled up his hat, showing deep, dark eyes and his clean shaven face. The barman walked slowly over and handed Gregory his rum. He quickly walked away. Gregory flicked the cork of the bottle and put it to his lips.

Nothing.

Without hesitation he stood up and threw the bottle in the bartender’s direction. It flew past his shoulder and shattered onto the wall in front of him. Everyone gasped and turned their heads in Gregory’s direction, he simply shrugged and walked over to the barman. When he reached him he stared him straight in the eye and silently said.

“What game you playin’ at boy?”

The barman, a small, young Wood Elf with brown hair shook in his shoes and stuttered.

“N-no games sir. M-must have b-been a mix up with t-the bottles sir.”

Gregory shook his head and pulled a chair out from under the table to his left, it was made of a sturdy wood, but not sturdy enough to not break over an Elf’s head. He lifted up the chair and brought it down hard upon the Elf’s noggin, it smashed into many small pieces and an uproar from the men around the bar sent the women screaming outside.

Gregory shrugged and strolled carelessly back to his corner, as soon as he sat down a bellow from a large man started a racket throughout the bar.

“He should be arrested!” Cried some.

“Disgraceful!” Shouted others.

Then all of the men stood up and a massive bar brawl initiated. Gregory tried to make himself as invisible as possible by putting out the lantern near him and pulling his hat down over his face.

Not here, not here.

His plan worked, until a great, burly man swung his fist in his direction. Gregory leapt up and out of the window behind him, he landed with accuracy and grace. With a sense of victory he got up and turned towards the man who had tried to hit him and made a face.
“Ha ha, Kurr!”

The man roared and leapt through the window after Gregory, or at least tried to. He got stuck halfway. Gregory collapsed on the ground in a fit of laughter, the man who was stuck howled in pain as a man came up beside him and kicked him in a place where the sun don’t shine.

OOC: It just needs to build up steam. Sometimes people find it hard to post when there isn't much going on.

Name: Aeth Raam

Age: 32 in Bosmer years

Gender: Male

Race: Bosmer

Birthsign: The Tower

Role on ship: Carpenter

Skills: Short Sword, Marksman, Alchemy, Illusion, Stealth, Unarmored, Acrobatics

Non TES Skills: Carpentry, Fishing, Starting Fires

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 120 pounds

Eye Color: Green

Hair Color: Black

Appearance: Has a healthy, golden tan. Hair is slightly long, pulled back tightly in a short pony tail. Often has a sinister grin on his face.

Weapon(s): Iron short sword and a fine steel dagger.

Misc. Items: Repair hammer, saw, pipe and tobacco

Apparel: Dingy, off-white tunic, dark brown trousers and leather boots.

Mental: A bit grumpy while he's working. Has a dark sense of humor.

Background History: Aeth spent his early advlt years working on a merchant ship carrying various ales and spirits between Valenwood and Hammerfell as a crewman. Those years were fairly uneventful, earning him a modest income and gaining him experience as a sailor.

One day, as his ship was returning to Valenwood after a successful trade, his ship was attacked by pirates. His ship was no match for the pirates' cannons and his captain was forced to surrender to save their lives. In return for their quick surrender and to help replenish his crew that had taken heavy losses from a previous battle, the pirate captain offered to spare any man who would serve under his command. Most of the merchant crew, including Aeth, volunteered. The two that remained, the captain and the first officer, were left to die as the pirates set fire to their ship.

Aeth took these events in stride. He considered this a lucky break, as he had started to become bored making the same runs over and over again. For the first year his status as a newcommer and former enemy limited him to half a share of all booty collected in their pillaging. Even so, he was earning a lot more than he did as a merchant. After a time the captain began to notice Aeth had an affinity for damage control, in spite of his grumblings when instructed to do so, and promoted him to ship's carpenter which allowed him to start earning two shares.

The life of a pirate really grew on Aeth. He loved the excitement of coming down hard on hapless merchants, taking their goods and burning their ships into the sea. Repairing the ship afterwards was hard work but it was well worth the rewards.

Unfortunately, just as Aeth was starting to think he had found his place in life, the captain announced that he was going to retire. Having pillaged successfully for several years prior to Aeth's arrival, most of the crew agreed that they had all finally earned enough to live out the rest of their lives in luxory. They collected the rest of their shares and departed the ship. All that was left was Aeth and a few of his former shipmates from the merchant ship that had managed to survive to that day. With no crew left to leave the ship to, the captain sold it to a local fisherman and left Aeth and the other crew members to fend for themselves.

Since then, Aeth has been spending most of his days at an inn along the Gold Coast, blowing his septims on cyrodiilic brandy and longing for the old days of pillaging and piracy.

Aeth stepped into The Flowing Bowl and ducked as a half empty bottle of ale flew past his head. He wasn't the least bit surprised that someone had started another bar fight. He was late to the party but he wasn't going to let that stop him from joining the fun.

A serving platter was laying on the floor near his feet. He quickly snatched it up and plastered the flat of it against the face of a tall Nord. The Nord was not amused. Looking over he saw Aeth smiling innocently. He was surprisingly fast and Aeth wasn't in a position where he could maneuver easily. Before Aeth had a chance to dodge out of the way, the Nord brought both fists down hard over his head. Aeth collapsed onto his back, unconscious.

Ronald walked towards the Flowing Bowl, with his map supplies in his bag. He was supreised to see someone fighting multiple people outside. He had enough sense to stay back, not wanting to get involved, but he had had a sneaking suspicion that one of them he was supposed to see.

OOC: Approved by Dark Fox. Second character, may be a bit of a challenge for me as I have never RPed two characters at once, but I'll give it a go.

Name:Naomi Fadina

Age:25

Gender:Female

Race:Imperial

Birthsign:The Thief

Role on ship:SeaWoman. biggrin.gif

Skills:Blade, marksman, acrobatics, athletics, speechcraft.

Non TES Skills:Lying.

Height:5'4

Weight: 74KG (Once again, convert it yerselves me hardies!)

Eye Color:Green

Hair Color:Dark Blonde

Appearance:Long dark blonde hair, quite a beautiful face and a strong, attractive build. hubbahubba.gif

Weapon(s):Pirate Sword, pistol.

Misc. Items:Pistol ammunition.

Apparel:Knee length leather boots (black). Long blue trenchcoat with gold buttons, wide sleeves and a large collar, white shirt underneath. Tight Black pants, ripped at knee.

Mental:Usually quite calm, but can get frustrated or annoyed easily. Quite smart and has alot of common sense, likes to be heard.

Background History:
Naomi hated her childhood, she was raised in the word of nobility and she hated it. She wasnted to be a sailor, scouring the seas, hunting for hidden treasure...

But this never happened, her parents treated her like a princess that she didn't want to be. They made here attend balls and dance with vile princes, and wear tiaras to show of her royalty.

But fortunately for here a ship "The Hidden Sails" one day docked near her home on the shores of Summerset, she disguised hereself as a sailor and was admitted into the crew. Naomi had to learn the ways of the sailor as she went along, as she had never had the chance to learn them herself, but eventually she got it, but by this time it was too late.

The captain had discovered that she was a woman and left her in the harbour of Anvil with nothing but the clothes on her back and an empty bottle of rum, she has been working as a barmaid in Anvil ever since, and waits until the moment when she can be aboard a ship once again.

Feel free to try and romance her...

IC: Naomi just watched as the battle between the sailors that inhabited The Flowing Bowl raged on. She noticed a Bosmer with deep green eyes walk into the bar, pick up a serving platter and hit a tall Nord man full in the face. She laughed, showing perfectly white teeth and a beautiful smile. She stood back against the wall and observed the fight some more, she remembered the man who had started the fight. He had slipped off just as a man had gone to attack him.

Coward. Naomi thought as she jumped up onto the bar-bench and yelled at the top of her lungs.

“OI! LISTEN UP YOU FILTHY SCALLYWAGS!” Nothing happened, not a single face turned to look. The battle raged on, Naomi gave up and hurriedly slipped outside.
She saw the man who had started the fight examining the boats in the harbour and walked up to him.

“Hey, you!” She called as she got closer to the man. He turned at looked at her with brown, staring eyes. She felt herself blush and asked.

“What’s ya name?” Naomi examined the man closely as she waited for an answer. He wore a white shirt underneath a black vest and black breeches with knee length boots like hers. His hair was dreadlocked and had various beads of many colours embedded into them.

“Mah name you ask hon’?” He replied in an amused tone. “Gregory Jenkins at your service.” He tipped his hat politely and asked as he nodded at the bar behind her. “Now what’s a pretty lady like you doin’ in a place like that hmm?”

“I work there. And don’t call me darlin’, or hon’ for that matter . You got me?”

He nodded and went back to examining the boats swaying gently on the water. There was a large ship with sky blue writing on the side saying. “Sea Storm”, there was another one next to it, a small fishing boat labeled “Fishy Delights”. And on the end there was a tiny dinghy with no evident name. Gregory laughed as he saw this one and picked up a pebble from the ground next to him and threw it onto the ship, with a loud “CRACK” it pierced a hole on the floor of the ship and fell through to the bottom, luckily it didn’t put a hole in the bottom, or Gregory would have had a hefty price to pay.

Gregory turned back around and said to the woman, who was still standing there watching hi.
“Now I never caught your name madam. May I ask what is happens to be?”

She stared hard into his eyes and replied.

“Naomi Fadina. Pirate.”

Ronald began trying to sneak around were the fight was going on. He was never any good at fighting. Suddenly, he was bumped into by someone. This caused his balance to disappear, and he fell backwards.

Into the water.

Adire rolled over in her bed and sighed.
Another bar brawl...
She stood up, gathering her coat and holsters and left her room, bed still un-made, with a hefty sigh. Downstairs the bar was a total wreck, there were broken bottles and glasses everywhere, drunken men and women screaming and shouting at each other and the barman cowered behind the counter.
"Maenlorn, what the hell is going on?" She asked cool-ly, leaning over the glass-strewn wooden counter.
He whimpered with his hands held over his head. "Help!" Was the only word he said before he ran up the stairs.
