I'll use my pistol&knife for CQC but mid range and more I'll have a light rifle with a red dot. Not a sniper more like a high powered semi auto rifle.

Pistols have their strengths and weaknesses like everything else in the game, but if their strengths play to your strengths then you end up with a deadly new friend.

I think and hope pistols will have an appreciable advantage like accurate hipfiring at close/medium range even while moving, 'cause I love those little boys.
