Plane of Oblivion

I, too, would prefer if we didn't visit another Daedric realm in Skyrim. That said, I do want all the Daedric Princes to be present in the next game in some capacity.

If I HAD to pick I would pick Apocrypha.

But I would be livid if it wasn't the most amazing in game experience I'd ever had.

That feels like a lot to ask, so I'll join the consensus and say I'd be fine with no plane at all.

The Nine Divines do have a realm. :)

It's called Mundus.

Ok, but can you visit it?
Yes. I think I'd like to skip Oblivion and it's many realms. I kinda like the quests with the Deadric Lords, but would rather it be a long distance relationship... like Morrowind.

In Bloodmoon you breifly visit the Hunting Grounds.

There is no confirmation that TES5 is in Skyrim, however please vote on what you would want if it was inevitable.

The Daedric Princes always have an active influence. If they see someone saving or destroying the land the might interfere or help. Asking the daedra not to be involved is like asking for a Lore change, to which we had enough of.

Apocrypha. An endless library, with whispers moving between the shelves and unspeakable things haunting the corridors? Yes please.

Mundus is the universe. I'd be surprised if we couldn't.

No, that was actually Mortrag Glacier. Inside of it. Unless I'm mistaken myself? I've never actually been through the human side, so this is what I've gathered from Hircine's speech's as a werewolf. I really should try my hand at being the prey... :glare:

How do you all know that TES:V will take place in a plane of Oblivion? It's TES:V, not Oblivion.
I hope it doesn't. Climbing the landscapes of Skyrim suites me just fine. ^_^

He is asking if you had to go to any realm what would it be.

Just do it :P No point in being the hunter if you're too ignorant to fill the shoes of your prey.

I did the human side. I think its the same either way, but there must have been a breif visit to oblivion.
Either way, there was direct involvment with a Daedric Prince so no "Long distance relationship" was in Morrowind.

I fine with that as well, but I'm saying that if there is a plane of Oblivion in TES 5 which do you want to see.

Going to Oblivion allows Bethesda a little liberty in their art. They can try something new, so there is a chance that they will implement one for the sake of Art.

For some reason, I rarely feel the need to play a "righteous", "honourable" or "moral" character... Those who do tend to be the likes of Mer that have no intention of setting foot in Soltheim... Luckily, I'm training my Nordic Warrior, Svorj. I'll be ready to fight myself to the death again, any time soon. ^_^

I think Clavicus Vile's realm is possibly the strongest contender for appearance in TESV because of his role in The Infernal City. It wouldn't be too hard to recreate the realm in an Oblivion mod based on some descriptions and the appearance in Redguard either.

Are there any Oblivion mods that visit other realms of Oblivion without the style of Dagon's Deadlands or Shivering Isles?

I didn't vote because I would like to see most of them, but they have to be different from each other not like in Oblivion, Deadlands, Attribution's Share, Peryite's Pits, they all looked the same.

I rather not do another plane of Oblivion, but Quagmire would be great if "done right".

I voted Quagmire but I don't think Bethesda could do it justice.

I think, rather than seeing more daedric realms, I'd rather see more daedric creatures, from a variety of daedric princes.

As I've said before, I really feel that Hircine's realm is the only interesting realm that we can really give justice to, right now. I would love to see Coldharbour, but I think we've had enough of the overly dramatic "Evil" princes for quite a few games, eh?

Personally, I'm 50-50 on the whole political/epic questline debate. I think either can work great, and Bethesda should work with what they have. (Though a GREAT political game has been set up, Betheda would be quite silly to completely miss it out)
