Planning a revamp of my old Assassin's abode

I've started to look at the house mod I made a while back ( http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/9731 )and see ways to redo it fresh versus updating it.

Key features I plan to keep:
Practice lockbox (1 very hard versus multiple grades)
Respawning Food Cabinet (for companions)
Sparring partner pet (may change from wolf to something else)
Respawning mushroom containers (for basic damage health poisons - whisp stalk and stinkhorn)

Features I am considering:
Enchant/spell making Altars (reduced in size to bookends maybe... or different item with same functionality)
Black Soul Gem creation (Thinking something other than a necro altar, maybe a requiery with notes and such on it)

Features I am removing:
Starting spell book (Gets cluttered in the spell lists... unless I can do a script that lets you remove them by reading the book a 2nd time)
Basemant... (plan to make it a single room with no basemant)

I do plan to include plenty of storage and use a new location for it (though likely near imperial city)

Decour is going to be hunter oriented but with a few dark touches here and there...

I as always want to make the place look lived in and realistic. Simple but extremely functional

Any recomendations from those that used my old mods?
