Play after end

I don't know how many times I've had to say it but:

Keep Fallout away from TES.

Maybe I'll make it my sig soon, ya, I think I'll go do that.

That's right it's an Elder Scrolls game so why you came here on Bethesda's forums just to bash their prime series is beyond me.

What bash, really devoted fan? I like'em, and haven't missed one yet. Just because you don't agree with my lack of bootlicking doesn't mean I don't like the games.

You continuously ridicule the game's every feature and think Bethesda should learn from a mediocre company which is less successful for a good reason. See what I did there?

Even poop has redeeming features, and can be learned from.

TES don't have to be ridiculously linear, heck, F3 which was in development BEFORE Oblivion, had better choices, NVegas having great choices.
Why can't they change?

Fallout 3 was in development before Oblivion?

Can I get a source on that please?

Oh wait, I can't, because that is an absolutely false statement.

You have to understand that TES fans have been waiting 5 years for this release, Fallout: New Vegas just came out. We don't want a Fallout set in TES universe.

There should not be an ending for the game to have a point to finish

Obsidian had no reason for making the game end at the end. It was just a lack of time and effort. NV is still good though.

Quotes of me saying they should learn from anyone? Only company I've even thought, much less said, Bethesda should take any cues from is- Bethesda. As in their previous games in the series.

No ending obviously. Even though a lot of my characters don't even go through the main quest.

New Vegas had to end, as post-end game content would be so [censored] with the amount of time Obsidian had to develop the game.

However, this is the TES series, not Fallout, so no ending is necessary.

Remember Daggerfall? We had a choice then. I hope that returns.

Hmm, can you play after the end if you choose to keep the Totem for yourself? I've only given it to Mannimarco so far.

It's fairly obvious you believe they should have taken some of the features of NV to heart. But to avoid this getting out of hand I'll leave it at that.

And it's fairly obvious you're talking out your ass. Got me confused with the person who started the "Add VATS to Skyrim" thread or somesuch. (Which, BTW, I was extremely vocal against.)

Because metal gear cannot learn from splinter cell, Doom cannot learn from MAG, Metroid cannot learn from Castlevania, and WoW cannot learn from the new SWars MMO.
The old cannot learn from the new, and every person over 45 cannot use a cell phone.

You've yet to actually say it, but do you want ES V to have a definitive ending?

Nope. I'd be rather disappointed if it did. While I'll openly admit finding what passed for the Main Quest Endings to be "not all that" in both Morrowind and Oblivion, I like the way the games..."conclude the main quest" if you will.

I also agree with the really devoted fan's take, expressed in another thread, of "keep Fallout over in its corner and out of my TES."

It'd be incredibly stupid if they started adding endings to their series.

No, I dont think that they should add a definite ending. Its just would be kind of a downer to have to start all over

Ive said it before and Ill say it again: a lot of my characters aren't even worthy of going through the main quest. If Skyrim didn't have a main quest at all it wouldn't worry me. I'm a hardcoe role-player. Ive always used the ES games as a medium for singleplayer D&D style role-playing. Limiting myself, staying true to my build, making up content and stories, using my imagination etc. While a lot of people understand this over here, on the Fallout forums they think I'm nuts for this.

I wont name names, but Ive been bashed and questioned in general on why I would do this. To the point where at one time a whole thread was against me. LOL
they couldn't accept the fact that people imagined content, or stories, or limited themselves on items/weapons/attire etc. Also Im not saying everyone over there is like that.

Hm, I thought most of them were RPers too. I personally don't RP but I don't see how it's any stranger than playing a pen and paper which in turn isn't any stranger than reading a book or playing a board game... combined.
