I want to play as an intelligent deathclaw. Because you're smarter than a regular one one you aren't as big or strong, but since you're a deathclaw people will attack you on sight unless you are wearing a cloak. If you want to buy something you have to have a human or ghoul companion to pay for you. You cant wear armor or use weapons, but your skin is about ad tough as combat armor, and your claws are plenty strong. You get also get negative bonuses to anything that requires fine hand movements, because of the giant claws.

I think 'Intelligent' Deathclaws are extinct. 'Talking' Deathclaws still exist unless it's made non-canon by Bethesda.
Just a nitpick. :)

Most likely since the intelligent ones were made by the enclave.

I thought talking deathclaws was one of the worst ideas in the series -- and thus hope to never see them again in the future.

I'd love to see physically different people and possibility to play as one. For example 1 eye and an eye patch.

I dunno, I liked them for being so vastly different from humans and human mutants.
I'd love to see them again, hell I'm still standing by my idea for intelligent lakelurks.

I think you're right, it would be ruined if Bethesda went about it how they do in the Elder Scrolls, where race matters only in certain attributes. But, if Bethesda actually put some focus and time into it, and made races more than just attributes, Fallout would be bettered and maybe even progressive in the fact of choosing a certain race actually meaning anything. I don't think I've ever played a game, where they had the choice of one race to another, and it made much of a difference.

Bethesda could change that, in Fallout 4 with enough focus and effort.

On this forum i say this alot, it looks good on paper. Though Bethesda would probably not be on the same page as us. They might think, if it worked in skyrim itll work in fallout.

I'd like to see some racism, we all know we're not going to all love each other in a World like this.

I know it would be very controversial, if they did.

Not on board with the idea of other races, this is a story of man and his struggles of survival.

They'de have to play it really safe with it or not safe at all. Maybe a KKKesk like group(not to hate all the black people just the first thing to pop into my head)

There's already racism in Fallout. The bigotry against ghouls.

Yes, I meant between humans because it's very real.

People segregate themselves already. Even when I played New Vegas I thought the Boomers were all black like the Tuskegee airmen.

Pretty sure a KKK would start up a militia at the end of the World.

Like how the Nords hate Elves.

It would bring a whole new level of depth for sure.

I'd like to see a KKK-like group for ghoul hate. Maybe a legion variation with burning crosses? :hubbahubba:

Ghouls and Super Mutants were humans once, they are struggling with themselves.

I doubt that racism would have any sort of relevance in post-apocalyptic society. These people have very little knowledge on how the people who came before the bombs fell thought and there would have already been caucasians, black people and asians around because they were all there before the war. The main thing that fueled the origins of racism was one group of people who have lived for centuries without any knowledge that people elsewhere looked different, then that same group of people encountering another that did look different. Then it just escalates from there and only time will destroy it. America was already a diverse country when the bombs fell and I doubt that racism would survive the challenges and horrors of the wasteland. Its not sane or healthy to care about the colour of a persons skin when they're helping you kill a charging Deathclaw.

To add to what The Lobotomite said, considering that women are seen as equals (or at the very least, able to carry their own weight,) in most post-Apocalyptic societies, I doubt the color of a person's skin makes much of a difference since as The Lobotomite said, it doesn't matter when you're up against a Deathclaw.

I still fervently believe racism would survive a nuclear war, but that's just me.
