ok guys first off let me say that im a huge pc fan/ gamer, its my preferred platform above the consoles ( i also own a ps3 and an xbox360 ) . i played and still own the first crysis and crysis warhead. now i like many of you would like to see my hardware put to use but the truth is that many of you guys are complaining mainly about the graphics?? now i understand that they could be better but overall there is still a good game here to be played. just imagine if crytek would have abandoned us pc gamers altogether??? then we would really have been pissed. lets have fun with what they have given us and lets enjoy it, it could have been worse!!!!! lets have some fun!!!!

Your right.. I guess we should be satisfied that they took the time to port to pc.... now we can have more console experience without having to buy a console :)

A game is a game. On console you use a controller, on PC you use a keyboard/mouse (usually) and have slightly better textures and way better lighting and shadows.. If the game were developed ground up on the PC it would play EXACTLY THE SAME. If you don't like the game, fine, but the fact that it's a multiplatform game has nothing to do with why you don't like it (unless you're a spoiled snob and dislike it just because).

I'd bet anything that if the game were PC exclusive and was exactly the same as it is now (which it would have been), no one would be complaining.

i betcha i would complain due to the massive amount of motion blur which btw CAN NOT be turned off or even down and i literally puked trying to play the single player game yesterday. i uninstalled it and will hopefully see a "offical" fix to this so that i have a reason to re-install and actually get to play this game and not just have a 60$ paperweight!! soo my complaint is completely valid not just griping about .....something just to gripe

thanks

Here's the thing, Crysis added innovation to the gaming community it pushed technolog forward. Thats one of the benifits of a true PC game, a very noteorthy line for alot of hardware reviews that came after the game launched was, "yeah but can it run crysis". There are flaws also to having a game beyond its time is it may have a smaller player base because people simply can't play it smoothly because they simply can't meet the requirements, this doesn't mean the game or the gameplay was bad. Crysis 2 was built up to be the "next big thing". Did it meet that goal, I dont' think so personally. Yes the story is great which is always nice but the gameplay both SP and MP is simply not to par with the original, the main reason for this is the game had to be dumbed down to meet console requirements. Does this mean this makes it a bad game that no one should play, no. It just doesn't meet the expectations that were set such as an advancement of the original title with smoother gameplay for a greater number of users.

You are absolutely wrong.... if it were built for PC and looked and played like this the PC community would ban the game outright. I feel that crytek let the pc community down by advertising things that they had no intention to implement. Make as much money as possible..if that means screwing a group of gamers.. so be it. Port that svcker and sell sell sell.............................

Lol, sorry dude, but you miss the point. The PC players like me have no intention of touching this game. Were not console players. Its just so much garbage to us.

the thing is, E.A. is the one controlling most of the development areas like multiplayer, cross-platform and anti-piracy ****.
since EA is known for a greedy ass company, we get the game we call Crysis 2.

anyway, i still like the game and the story. i dont care about anything else, graphics and orchestraic music are bonusezzzzz

I have never owned a PC game that wouldnt let me customize my graphics settings.... This has 3 presets and doesnt allow you to change it. THAT is my major problem, and if i was just PC I would be MORE PISSED then I am now. However, the word on the street says there going to release a patch that lets you change the settings, in that case I will be happy.
