This is what I commented on facebook to the plush headwear/helmet... "wow yet another exclusive thing most of us fans will never get cause we cant afford to drive across country....congrats bethesda...you gave me reason to be upset with you about skyrim...hows about putting one in every collectors edition pre order...or selling them on your site?"
And you know its true why should we have to drive across the country to get a hat...seriously we should be able to buy them at bethesda online store or get them with our collectors editions...I mean something Im already freaking in the red for cash this year as are most gamers.....lol how am I supposed to play the dovakiin without my hat lol anyway thats my 2 cents...Im sure others get just as upset if not more than I did over these little "Events" with the exclusives everyone wants but only a handful can get....shame on beth....playing favorites

That's what I said, it is the next weekend.

I do hope someone from the forum does go there so that we can get a report.

Yeah. I was already lucky enough to see it taken from a camcorder on youtube (video was taken down almost straight away) and I'd really like to see it in 1080p if possible, 720p would be fine...

Oh haha! When I hear next weekend I always think of the following weeks weekend. I always refer to the upcoming weekend as "this weekend". Regardless, I love that there's a public demo. Beth has to be very confident about the build to let anyone get their hands on it and do whatever they want. Oblivion didn't have a public demo prior to its release.

I'm assuming there won't be video recorders allowed during the event or people won't be allowed to video their 20 min run-throughs?

True. That's a rather ballsy thing for Beth to do.
Considering the predictable affluence, including commited naysayers willing to spend their 15 min inducing bugs, it is brave and indeed bodes well for the game.

I'm expecting to read lengthy reports.
And some footage, right?

:D

If you are in Seattle, please report back and let us know what you think of the Bretons, Imperials and Altmer in the character creation menu.

I suspect that they'll have dragons turned off once again. It is too bad you can't easily base BaseIDs (at least I'm guessing they haven't made it any easier). Otherwise, I'd try 'PlaceAtMe Alduin".

Probably 360, but that's not confirmed. It's weird because Beth has shown RAGE numerous times on the PS3 and it's said that version looks and runs just as well as the 360 version.

They've been showing off the PS3 version of RAGE? Are you sure? Well, but then again, id still is a separate company from the folks making Skyrim, even if controlled by the same publisher.

Well i'm not sure how much they've demoed the PS3 version of RAGE, but I have read hands on impressions of the PS3 version and journalists have said good things about it.

They've showed off the 360 version, as well? If anything, I would actually be surprised if a code partially written by John Carmack would be anything less than great on any platform.

Yea they've shown both. I found this as well http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/28709738/carmack-says-gamers-confused-ps3-version-of-rage-with-high-end-pc

PS3 version was playable for the public at E3 and gamers thought it was on a high end PC because it looked so good. I also just read another article where Pete said the PS3 version was on display in the QuakeCon press room.

You'll be able to go where you want and do what you want for about 20 minutes -- pretty much like what we let press do at QuakeCon.

Will that include character creation?

:lmao:

That's fantastic.

If only they would so the same with Skyrim... :(

John Carmack needs to double as a programmer for Bethesda. I demand it!
