Played Classes

Post » Fri Apr 01, 2011 11:15 pm

So looking back on the one giant poll to rule them all I've noticed that the classes I'm encountering don't really reflect what people selected before the game came out. Instead of seeing the 7 team ninja operative I was wholly expecting I see one, maaaaaybe two (to my relief) but now sometimes 5 engineers.

Now that a good few of you have had a chance to play I was curious about what the updated class ratio is.

Yaay, finaly an interresting poll and not a : Whats your favorite type of pistol? What is your favorite faction? What is your favorite Hair cut? What is your favorite Pet????? :P Just for the sake of creating a poll, and always done by the same guy rightt? lol :)

Edit : I wish there was an option to see the correlation between the amount of people that chose a class and the amount of people that said yes or no.

Wait arent they always visible? I just remembered how awesome it was to spot mines in ET, awww so much fun :P. If the mines are by default hidden for the other factions, that could give one more reason to actually do it lol.

Yeah that's exactly it, enemy mines are hidden but if operative M2 (or whatever the console version of M2 is) on it for a few seconds they become visible and able to be disarmed by friendly engies or shot down. And the few operatives that I see aren't doing half the things I know they're capable of.

Oh, thats actually better. I still remember the last time I tried to spot mine :

- Select Spot Mine
- Go back to the same room I was earlier, where the mine is now highlighted...
- "Oh... that mine? the one that is in the middle of nowhere and that was super obvious even without the highlight....?"
- "Ok... lets do this...." /Mine spotted
- "..... yay, it is now even more visible!!... less chance for teammate to accidently walk on it..."
- .....
- "Why not just shoot that thing out instead, yeah that sound like a better idea"

lool, I never wanted to check anything related to mines anymore since it seemed like pointless and a of waste of previous time
Now it is better, but I still prefer the ET approach where they were all invisible, even for the Ops, and required a lots of focus to be spotted"
