I played enough Arena to get a feel, and want advice for the

I'm playing as a Redguard Knight, and my specs are like this:
Level 7
Str 76
Int 43
Wil 40
Agi 53
Spd 64
End 76
Per 56
Luc 55
Katana
Spare longsword
Full plate
Tower shield
-7 AR worth of jewelry

I've escaped the first dungeon, and a dream told me to find Fang Lair in Hammerfell. Locals told me to go to the palace in Rihad, so I did, and the dutchess told me to go to Stonekeep Dungeon before she would tell me the location of Fang Lair. I didn't have enough cash to stock up on potions, but I did have two "marks" which heal me, so I went in with those.

I wandered around a little, cleaned out the keep itself (a few locked rooms remain unsearched), but found some extensive caverns through a hole in one of the barracks. Exploring that brought me to some tougher enemies. Spiders in particular were tough - two or more at once will murder me.

I've explored maybe 25% of the caverns before I started to run low on mark charges, so I went back to the nearest town, and almost died of leprosy on the way. Curing it at the temple took a good portion of my gold, leaving me with 469 pieces.

So, what would be recommended now? I've got a few magic items - should I sell them or keep them for a rainy day? They are two mostly depleted marks of healing, and three crystals - crystals of wanderlight, opening, and wizard's fire.

Next, what should I buy? Potions? Better weapons or armor? Something else? Nothing at all?

And after that, should I go back to Stonekeep, or is there a better place to go right now?

If you are looking for gold, it might not hurt to do some village random tasks.

Go to a small village somewhere and ask people for work, they will tell you which tavern has work for you. GO there and follow the instructions. Important thing is, choose a good little town, one you want to spend a lot of time in, then as you do these quests you will learn the town layout. As you do more the money you earn does go up, and eventaully you'll be able ot approach the town prince or whatever and get a job worth 1000's of gold.

Also with locked doors, you can use your weapon to bash them open if you don't have a spell or not a thief, just attack the door.
