Played FONV no problems, about to switch to UE

PS3 Slim, latest patch. Am I doomed if I use vanilla saves and continue my game into the DLC?

/RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First DLC I try and I get 3 frames per second after 20 minutes
