Player base has dropped like a rock.

Due to moving house, I haven't had internet to play any C3 in the past couple of weeks. The first thing I noticed was how few players are left in MP.

In the past 3 weeks or so the player base has gone down from roughly a 1000 players during peak times to around 300. What the hell happened? Even on console there is less than 1/3 of the players left.

Well, I guess its been fun.

The matchmaking is still buggy for Australian servers, so even if we find the servers it gets filled up with people that don't understand that 400 ping is bad. As a result Australians are spread out over the North American servers as well so we don't get the community that we had going in C1 and to a lesser extent c2.

Yeah, I hear what you are saying. Asian players have been playing in the AU servers since day one, taking up all the spots in popular servers. What I'm talking about though, is the total number of C3 players world wide.

Right now, there are barely a thousand players worldwide on MP between PC, 360 and PS3 together. The player base has definitely gone down, badly.
