Player controlled dodging?

Wondering if it's been confirmed in or out yet. Thread about the larger creatures got me wondering about it. As someone who plays lightly armored characters, it seems like a necessity to avoid the heavy blows of giants and dragons - I'm kind of assuming it's in just want to know for certain.

I'd imagine so. I feel the Dragon fights would almost require you to dodge to survive unless you use a shield ( and even then it might not be enough).

It was there in Oblivion, so I don't see why not.

Dodging wasn't too useful in OB though.

And thank you.

I'd love a GOOD dodge though. not something that just makes the camera move lower for a second. you know, a REAL roll, like Mirror's Edge did it, would be perfect, and would make the battles feel even more intense as head movement is simulated

I wouldn't really call what Oblivion had "dodging" exactly. >_<

Needs to have some kind of dodging system and with the new combat system I am sure there is something in. But I do not want ArcaniA 4 type dodging, I would take a ACB like system but not quite as easy.
