I predicted this would happen. Everyone bought the content and was excited with how great the maps are. I wasn't doubting the maps would be a breath of fresh air, but I did know that once the initial fun factor was over, a lot of people would go back to their other games with the issues still left in Crysis. So now what you have, as the OP side, is a divided community of people who can play DLC, and those of us who chose to opt out of paying in Crytek's wallet while they still had an unfinished game on their plates.
If the day comes that they ever manage to fix the game... Sure, I'll purchase the DLC. Honestly, I am starting to hold a huge grudge against Crytek UK (not the rest of the company), after having read about the previous company's release of Haze. I'm just beginning to think they're incompetent.
All I am asking is that Crytek become more creative. They want to build a community, get out and talk to people about their game. It is rare jewel of a game. Honestly, I like playing this game better than COD. But, I think who ever is making decisions on the MP, should be on here speaking to the community. The SP is done, but the MP continues until their next game. They have to understand this! When you have spent a lot of time farming your community, they will grow. But if you spit on the crops when it is hot, they will die.
They need to water us with a lot of organized communication. If they are working on server problems, tell us what they are doing to improve. This information is passed along to my buddies and then to their buddies that something is happening to Crysis. When there is silence, the news is not reported, so things die.
