Playing in 1920x1080

Post » Thu Oct 04, 2012 11:06 am

Hi, can anyone tell me how to get the game running in 1920x1080 resoultion? I've seen people saying to use MGE or MGE XE but i want an option that just lets me increase resolution without affecting vanilla Morrowind in any way, as this will be my first time playing it. If there is a way to use MGE or MGE XE to get bigger resolutions without changing anything from vanilla morrowind i'd appreciate someone telling me how to do that. Thanks for any help.

I use MGE, but I understand what you mean (Since I am the same way).

Just simply dont use distant land in the 'distant land' tab if you want to keep vanilla Morrowind but want a higher res.

You can install MGE XE without needing to use any of its other advanced features, by default it doesn't really do anything to the graphics. You'll be able to change resolution, FOV, and maybe apply some anti aliasing if you like, without changing anything else about how the game looks.

I think the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=utilities.detail&id=22 has a resolution feature too, but using MGE would probably be easier.
