No playing after the end?

for a variety of reasons there is no playing after the battle of hoover dam. if you go the yes man route, you are picking an independant new vegas, thus, ncr is not included. if you want the ncr you must choose the ncr path.

Ah! I was wondering why the NCR turned on me. I was on pretty good terms and then, BAM, they hate me...

As I said in the core forum:

There are too many endings in FONV to allow you to carry on, unlike FO3 where there were just two.

I don't understand two things about the people who keep asking:
A : Do people just not know what end means? Because there seems to be some confusion.
B : What, exactly, is the practical difference between playing from the final save and playing after the ending slide? Seriously?

We saw in OWB the effects of mixing ending slides and playing AFTER the ending. To nobody's surprise, it's just goofy and invalidates anything the slides said. Let's not make the same mistakes in the core game.

Nope. You should have paid attention to the warnings. The best you can do is load a save before you started the Battle for Hoover Dam and just not do the main quest.
