Playing in english in france with a digital copy.

Hello everyone,

It's nearly all in the title.

Would you please excuse me, if the topic has allready been discussed, chances are it has...

(I'm also sorry for the goofy english).

I'm french, living in France and i've been playing my games in english for a few years, now.

Got a PS4, burning to buy and play Fallout 4 (cause you know, planning my vacations based on what Todd's cooking since Morrowind...).

Since i've changed my PS4 stock hard drive for a SSHD and feeling the nice benefits on loading times playing Planetside2, i'd like and that in spite of the weakness of my internet download speed, to get my f4llout fix that way.

Sony of course says it's all up to the publishers, so, i guess i need an official statement, here from the big horned G in person...

Will i be able to digitally purchase Fallout 4 on the french Ps store and enjoy it in english?

For those who allready have knowledge of this kind of issue, what is the consensus about it?

While there been no official word about this, Bethesda as a European publisher, have unfortunately a fairly poor track record when it comes to allow French, German, Spanish and Italian people to play the game in english.

So I recommend you buy the game on disc, and import it from Amazon.co.uk or something.

Damn, you're cold, man. :cryvaultboy:
Thank you for the quick and honest answer, Freddo.

Not really surprised since i did a bit of research first.

I feel quite puzzled (not to say pissed off enough to punch someone in the face for half an hour or so) by that freakin digital era they are selling us, where you can't even have a language pack of your choice to download.

Pissed off, peace out.

Well, Steam does offer this amazing digital age service since i can't remember when. Just saying. Definitely not a publisher problem.

Strange. I've suddenly a sort of pretty clear idea of who i'd like to mashed down for a bit...

Peace/off, piss out. :D

Yeah, you're right, got the money for a new PC by the end of 2016, and i swear that will be goodbye forever home entertainement systems.
