Playing makes my PC to suddenly restart

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:43 pm

Hello pals, first of all sorry if my lack of "english skill" did affected this text's grammar or ortography.

I tried to "contact" Bethesda, but apparently is one of those Cr*ppy "robots" which merely sends you "most asked answers" and in case it isn't any of those, suggest you go to the forums.

So, if you don't mind, I'll copy-paste what I tried to send to them:

Your PC restarting is usually an overheating problem. I know you said your temperature is fine, but the GPU can heat up very quickly under load.

The change you made in the INI file--I assume you turned off vsync. By uncapping your frame rate, you allow your GPU to go up to a high rate when the graphics load is low (like if you're looking at the ground and there isn't much geometry on-screen). High frame rates can cause your GPU to heat up, causing a sudden shutdown which is intended to protect the PC from damage. It's a hardware function rather than a software thing, which is why there is no error message.

I would try changing that INI setting back to default and see if the problem persists.

Already said I merely touched something about mouse sensibility. Also, the incidence was existing since i installed and played the game for 1srt time, way before i did the change.

I actually did not uncapped the game fearing that possibility, but as said, it isn't :\ .
