I'ma be honest. This is something that has always bugged me in the previous Fallout games. There are obvious spots in the game's world where there are pool tables, which seems to be used for playing pool at times (such as in a bar or in an community area) yet we can do nothing about it... Pool balls are pretty useless and pool sticks are used as melee weapons...

Would it be nice to maybe be able to actually play pool at certain areas in exchange for caps? Like make a bet, win the game, and make caps (or lose)? I mean, it isn't too far to have. We had some gambling games in New Vegas and they already feature video games for your Pip-Boy in Fallout 4! So it isn't too far to ask, right? It honestly would be cool and fun in my opinion. Adds a bit more to the world for you to actually enjoy and interact with...

I can't be the only one who has ever thought of this, yes?

sure it would be fun but sometimes good and fun ideas can't be simulated well in the engine you are using.

Maybe will find a pool shrine.

I'm all for things in Sandbox games that divert. Poker. Minigames, Etc. So meandering into a tavern for a pint of warm beer and some billiards? Totally up my alley.

Then maybe down to the local grease pit for some cheeky nandos.

It's certainly a missed opportunity whenever we can't play pool, despite the tools of the trade being commonplace. Perhaps we'll luck out this time.

Also there should be a Hockey Tournament.

I don't know if pool would translate well virtually (and besides, I'd still scratch every time). But maybe they could figure it out. Or maybe it could be reworked to be a whole new game? Maybe over 200 years they could forget how to play pool, make up a new game. One I'm better at personally.
