Playing as a robot

I'm interested by the idea of role playing a robot character (similar to Iron Man, Terminator, etc) and just looking for a bit of advice. Perks should be simple - Cyborg, Iron Fist, Adamantium Skeleton, Lead Belly etc, and main skills would be Science, Energy Weapons, Medicine, Repair, maybe Big Guns, Unarmed.

My SPECIALs would be high Strength, Endurance, Intelligence, with low Luck, Charisma, Agility but should Perception be high too, to take advantage of robotic sensors, or given that a robot can't smell or taste, would it be low?

Also for outfits the Mechanist's outfit would be ideal but can this be repaired? Otherwise it's power armour but what's the easiest way to get this early on?

For healing I'd still have to use stimpaks but I thought I'd only be able to use one for every piece of Scrap Metal in my inventory, so when I use a stimpak I'd drop a piece of Scrap Metal too. Oh and I'd only use non emotional responses and never do Speech checks.

Any thoughts?

The easiest way to get power Armour is to go to Anchorage.

The mechanists outfit is repaired only by repairers (not yourself).

If you get the RobCo Cerified mod you can get a new quest which will get you a special Mechanist power armor. It makes robots friendly to you. The mod also allows you to repair bots, make junkbots, and have them as followers. The FWE mod has an alternate start where you are a mechanist (robots like you). Either or both could help with your character.

On YouTube you can see a glitch that will let you get into the Citadel and get PA training right away...providing that hasn't been patched.
