Playing NV without dying once!

Well, I finally got around to start playing fallout new vegas and I'm loving it. I have about three hours into the game and unfortunately I got svckered in by Barton Thorn and ended up dying from the massive gecko assault. After a second attempt I managed to kill all the geckos and kill Barton. But I was bummed out that I actually died so early on.

I am considering starting the game over and attempt to play it without dying once. Is this a realistic idea? has anyone played the game in "normal mode" and not died once during the entire course of the game? Is this even possible? Has anyone else felt the same way about playing NV this way?

Thanks for your input....

A lotta people do DID (Dead Is Dead) playthroughs. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1202235-the-dead-is-dead-thread/ I'm in the process of doing one myself actually, well two truth be told. One in "Normal" and one in "Core". :P

Yes theres actually another thread with pretty much the same topic, its do able I've done it on hard myself you just have to be more careful. It does make the game feel different especially dangerous enemies become something to fear.
