Playing without perks

Post » Thu Dec 01, 2011 2:41 pm

It feels like the perk system is broken/unbalanced and/or is ruining the game for me. I'm tempted to create a new character without investing any points into any perks. I believe it would make the game even more interesting as well as challenging and really add to the RPG element. Thoughts?

My thoughts are...COOKIES!

But aside of that I think playing without perks would make the game more boring.

And probably also saying that by leveling up through non-combat skills, the game becomes too difficult. Lawlz.

Playing without perks seems kind've pointless to me, because that's where most of the character progression lies now.

Playing without perks would greatly amp up the difficulty. However, you would be removing a lot of features in the game by not unlocking perks.

Dear forum it feels to me like the game is broken which is spoiling the game. I am tempted to start a new game where I don't play the game, I think this will make the game more interesting and more balanced than the original game, which will really add depth to the no-game playing element of the RPG game. Any thoughts?

Yeah, do something else. lol

Sure. Go for it. One of the joys of the game is the ability to do whatever the heck you want.
