Playstation Magazine Screens

There a shot of the classic skeleton warrior (not a draugr). Their eyes now glow blue.

Skeletons look a LOT creepier than before. I might get a little scared when I play this game :celebration:

Managed to see the pictures without having the mag (don't own a PS). I think we can lay to rest the fears about one piece armors, the guy with the 2h hammer is wearing the same chest piece we've seen in several other shots (including bald guy) but his pauldron appears to be made from some sort of goat fur (judging by the horns).

The scan of the daedric armor is crap, so I can't comment on it much.

The beard on the draugr is pretty damn nice.

The crown on the female looks sweet, hope we can steal it or get our hands on something like it.

Some of you may or may not have seen the screens in the new Playstation Magazine, but for those of use who have, let's discuss.

Please do no post or ask for links to any kind of illegal scans.

1. The one of the draughr who appears to be in the basemant of a castle or something is cool. He is wielding a two-handed sword and is ready to swing. There appears to be a desk in the background with possibly a globe.

2. A beautiful campsite scene next to a river with a mountain in the background. Seems like there's always a mountain in the background of Skyrim screens.

3. Fighting someone with Daedric Armor on in the middle of a fire looks crazy and makes me wonder what the heck is going on.

4. A woman looking towards a large city. A rather breath-taking view.

5. A guy who looks similar to the guy in one of the two new screens recently released trying to attack the char! Whoa! Scary.

What other details do you see in the many screens?

1. I didn't like the fact that the dungeons look the same or similar to TES 4.
2. I loved the picture.
3. That one made me drool
4. The woman's closeup looks ugly. The character models definitely look better.
5. It's okay.

Ice Form Shout?
encases enemies in a block of ice, temporarily paralyzing them

You mentioned seeing Daedric armor in the magazine screenshots... Not the concept art in the studio tour.

I'm reading the mag and it says "we raise both fists skyward and scream 'Dovahkiin!'" Do you think we're gonna be able to shout this at any time? or just after a dragon kill ...
I want to go into a bar and scream that :D

At least the helmet on the guy with the fire all around him could be Deadric.

Or its just his face :mohawk:

It actually looks like the helmet from one of the draugr's in the trailer that you can see for a brief moment during the part with the magic in both hands.

Come to think of it, that guy does look emaciated like a Draugir. It would certainly explain the fur armor. I guess the player is just using the two-handed fire spell on one.

Also, didn't someone mention one of the pictures being of the player fighting a blackish yeti? I don't see that one.

That would be this armor.

I can see that armor in the pic immediately before the one I'm talking about. The armor I'm referring to is the one the OP referred to as:

Look at the one in the trailer more closely. The horns are pointing down, while the ones in the new screen are pointing up in the air, with an obvious angle. They look too different to be the same.

Ah. I see which one you are talking about now. Yeah, there's absolutely no way to tell if that's Daedric armor. Just looks like a draugr to me, especially since it's holding that Draugr axe.

We were looking at different screenshots, my mistake.

It would be pretty brutal if that was just his head :mohawk:

Between the khajiit pic we've seen before and the lady with the crown, it would appear that BGS took some inspiration from KD's circlets mod for OB, which if true is awesome. Especially since it means there's an official headgear slot that doesn't nuke the hair. :celebration:

Also, the guy with the same armor as the Nord in the recent official screenshot seems to have blind eyes. Or rather, perhaps he's a vampire. Vampires in Morrowind had completely white eyes.

The image with the bearded guy, who hereafter shall be referred to as the BBB (blind berserking beardguy) is by far my favorite just due to the amount of detail it seems to connote about the game world. Those disc-shaped wall ornaments and the candelabra in particular are pretty interesting looking. Along with the tapestries that we saw in the Facebook screenshot from the other day, so far Skyrim seems to be keeping its promise to have tons of interesting little details. That "exotic flea market" feel I'd get in Morrowind whenever I looked through somebody's home seems to be returning! :celebration:

I'm pretty sure it's not Daedric armor, let alone an NPC. His figure (especially around the waist) seems kind of wispy and decayed-looking and not due to flame particles being in front of him either. Pretty sure he's an undead of sort.

Fireball on a draugr I'd say. The pc's hands are in the two handed spell position. The eyes seem to be glowing as well.

Whee! There's non-helmet headwear! I can see a tiara!

Or maybe it's just a part of the hairstyle... wouldn't be the first game to do that.

The previously released khajiit pic also wears a circlet. I don't think its part of the hair.

I really don't think the guy in the fire is wearing Daedric armor. His arms and waist are skinny like the Draughr we've seen but he might be wearing some kind of executioner's mask with horns. Whatever it is I want it :D

I noticed in the two-handed weapons paragraph, it mentions staves. What we've seen of staves so far, they've been one-handed. So I guess there's both. The paragraph also mentions that bashing is better than blocking with the two-handed weapons. Perhaps this means we can use two-handed staves for melee!

Very observant! I thought it was just another little inconsistency not worth reading into. Here's hoping that both melee and rocket launcher staves are in.

I didn't see any Daedric armor but I love the hair on the Imperial I think it's an imperial or is it a nord, doesn't matter it looks good. The Drugar are awesome I love the Blue Eyes makes them truly an undead creature.
