that is def not true. Who ever told you that is def trolling you. You ever just take something someone says and google it yourself or do you normally just hop onto forums?

Lol, no need to be kind of a dike about it. I just got told that from someone and seeing as most people on here are paying real attention to this i figured I'd ask here seeing as I don't really have much time to do stuff this week. I figured out it's not true, wich I didn't think it was, I was just reassuring myself. *sigh*

A newsite in the UK claimed that it got hacked again. They don't know anything about technology.

A chatroom where you create an avatar, flirt with women, jump around like there's some bees following you, pretend you give a crap about someone's personal problem, and play games while you do it!

I'd say that's a pretty spot on description!

So basically it is pretty useless.

PS home is a dating site.

Anyway is PSN really back up in Japan? It doesn't seem like it.

you are kinda right. it was SOE(Sony Online Entertainment) that got hacked, which they recently shut down. that's the article you were probably reading. apparently there was a bunch of debit/bank details and an "outdated" CC database from 2007 that wasn't encrypted whatsoever.

------------
edit:

It's "unconfirmed" by Sony, so I don't think so, but then again they might not be saying anything cuz they don't want people to freak out and say their playing favourites or being racist or some crap. If it is up, there probably just testing the network.

Don't worry; the latest Sunday. Anyway Sony found an encrypted message saying "anonymous, we are legion." I'd post a link but on my new phone.

Goodness...I hope they realize Sony isn't going to give them what they want, no matter what they do.

Was it on IGN?

Why not? Its most likely them. They did hack other servers from Sony. Now all they gotta do is find the members. I suggest Sony using Geohots site to find the IPs of the users and then pick out the suspects.

Why would Sony ever do that? Sony likes to play rough. You say that your going to sue them; they'll reply "bring it on." I like it!

Its obvious that the anonymous are friends of Geohotz and they probably used his site. The court gave Sony access to all the IPs that visit his site.

This is really gettin old. I wish sony would stop B.S.ing us with all the PSN blog posts. Some PSN services should be up this week, huh? Yeah F-ing right. <_<

Sorry I'm being a grumpy gamer.

So all PSN member's, or those that bought things from the store, cc info may have been compromised. And all Sony is giving you is one month of PS+ which basically means you can own the bonuses for a month and then have to pay for them in order to keep them? Seems logical.

Well, that's only if you used a credit card. I personally prefer using those pre-paid code cards (close one), so I would think I'm immune to the compromization of credit card information simply because I never used a credit card over the PSN, but yeah, the situation svcks, in my opinion.
