Playstation online unplayable? : Othor Games

So I was just online playing 3 to 4 games. Is anybody else feeling these HUGE lag spikes? Like your character stops moving for 10 seconds at a time... (I wish I was exaggerating 10 seconds) and at the end of the 10 seconds your dead and bleeding?

It seems to me that happens everytime someone leaves... and people leave games all the time in Brink... or disconnects.

well the psn is just back up... i went on mag and it was lagging too

Lol that's the first time I'm glad that I heard MAG was lagging. So maybe it is the network. I'll go play a bit of motorstorm Apocalypse and see if it is the same.

Maybe the lag patch hasn't been applied to the PS3 version of Brink yet?

it hasn't, but i did encounter a few 3 sec lag spikes in brink, but otherwise fine.. though playing another online game seems like a good test.. ill go try it

I believe they did say that the PSN will take some time to get "rolled out" so you can go online,but remember the PSN isn't 100% up yet ( I think its about 50-85% up right now)

i froze today and couldnt turn off my playstation at all....now thats worse the DC universe atleast when i popped the game out it would bring me to the xmb..and I did notice big lag spikes in online but nothing when me and my buddy were playin against bots

it depends on host. Sometimes im in a match and im a bit laggy but after a while im going just find. I guess im taking some spot cuz in one game i took a post and i was a different so i guess i wasnt fully load into the match.

Yea but it was mostly crappy hosts i think.

I would imagine the network needs to be fully restored first, i started to update the new version then it stoped at 40% saying the network was still undergoing maintenace :S

Just got back from playing motorstorm. Not a single hitch of lag

... why aint my PSn back up? :S When i try to log on(after the update ofcourse) it just says that it is under ''maintenace'''.... :verymad:
And the Playstation doesnt work for me either(logging in that is) it just says that psn is under maintenace... but i have seen several new posts there from people who it is working for!
I live in sweden btw..

I noticed a few instances of rubberbanding when I first started playing online,but after that,everything seems to be running pretty good.Mind you,my internet isn't as good as most people's,but my experience more than likely comes from the host having a really strong connection.
