Please Allow Settlers Proper Power Armor Managment

Power armor management could be improved for settlements. Seems like they fixed the hijacking your suit thing, or at least all of my attempts to coax my guards in them have been fruitless, as they immediately get out after a battle. We have all these suits lying about, sitting around pretty much being glorified statues. Sure it won't matter until the settlement still being attacked /kidnapped even though it's practically a fort - thing gets fixed. I feel like it would be nice to see some of my guards decked out in PA. Imagine all of your guards at the castle wearing T-45s with minutemen paint, you want to be a member of my MM, you gotta represent who you are fighting for! :intergalactic:



Possible Settler Power Armor Tweaks:


-Can be assigned to get in a suit by commanding them to PA station with a suit inside


-Can be told to exit by commanding them to an empty power armor station


-Settlers in PA do not drain fusion cores


-The armor components on settlers PA do not degrade with damage (or far more slowly to compensate the fact the AI doesn't use cover that well)


-Settlers in PA should get a slight increase in happiness because they are in a FREAK'N ROBOT SUIT were entrusted with a powerful tool to help them protect themselves, their fellow men and the sense of security it brings, and if possible an increase in the settlements defense rating.

NPC's don't drain fusion cores to begin with.







I'd rather it stay away from happiness and leave happiness to other objects (Basketball hoopes, pool tables, jukeboxes, etc).

As for the other part, I think in general weapon DPS and armor need to factor into defense rating to begin with so defense rating isn't just a game of "spam the turrets". Also I'd make guard posts a 2x/4x/6x multiplier rather than a straight 2/4/6 defense boost.
