Please bring back my favorite creature!

The reason dragons left long ago is because of cliffracers. The little buggers ate all the dragon's food so they all moved of to Akavier, if I'm remembering my lore correctly.

Yeah that is correct. And I'm fairly certain that mudcrabs could defeat cliffracers. So it would make sense that dragons to be afraid of mudcrabs.

The reason a main character is needed is because these dragons are not from Akavir, rather they are the followers of Alduin the god of time. They're not really just out looking for food...

...well, I mean, they are. But cliffracers aren't going to stop Alduin from eating up the planet.

So these are a different kind of dragons then? So cliffracers wouldn't be any good.

Well, I mean, besides the fact that I'm pretty sure some guy from Morrowind killed off all of the cliffracers and was named a saint for it, it'd be worth a try I guess if you could find enough of the buggers.

But yes, these dragons are different in a sense. Not much is known about them, as we'll probably do most of the learning in the main quest, but these dragons answer to Alduin. They do still have free will, and so a few may be friendly or at the vary least neutral to you, but most will likely follow their boss' orders. Kinda like out the humanoid daedra we encountered in Oblivion had a mind of their own and free will to an extent, except the dragons are a lot more dangerous cause they're...well, dragons.

If only. That would pretty awesome if there was a mudcrab invasion. Although killing all of them would be a shame, if that was even possible.

I didn't think anyone killed the dragons. Or I didn't know at least. I'm not exactly the best person to talk about the lore.

So where are these dragons coming from?

And to be more on topic: What about a mudcrab dragon combination?

Mudcrabs are my absolute favorite creature. I just love them for some strange reason I'm not exactly sure why. I'm kind of sad they haven't been confirmed yet. Seriously mudcrabs would be a great creature to have because it could add more variety in the water creature areas. An area that was severly lacking in Oblivion. Now with the addition of underwater shipwrecks and things like that mudcrabs could be perfect. Plus think of all the varieties they could have with all the different landscapes in Skyrim.

So please bring the mudcrabs back into Skyrim

Maybe they want mudcrabs to be a surprise. That's why they haven't showed them off yet.

I don't think anybody would be surprised if they got a new appearance model. Everything else is. I just wonder what it would look like.
