Well it is the land of the Nords, who are used to the cold by now.

Yeah I think the toughest thing about fighting mudcrabs was that you could never see where they were until they attacked you. A master of sneak I would say. If it wasn't for the battle music I would probably have been scared many times by simple sneak attacks by them.

I guess they just get to be cold then

But really the Armor is probably made for Nords, so the other races are probably out of luck when in Skyrim

I do hope they look like those morrowind mudcraps.

They are awesome because they attack with such ferocity but are actually quite harmless

It would be nice to see them, hearing nords complaining about a new type of crab that has been sighted recently would be priceless :spotted owl:

well since some of the biggest crabs live in the Bering Straight i think they can survive in Skyrim

This is true, but this is not earth nor the Bering Straight.... This is Nirn and some extremely pesky sand-fleas...

I actually chuckled just thinking about it. That is pretty funny.

And the mudcrabs took many hits when the bar was all the way to the right in Oblivion. But that is a whole nother issue.

Really? It's the first creature you can easily slash right from the start. I always trained block skill in ES IV on mudcrabs.

ya..i guess we are the only two? they were the lowest level creature so right out of the sewer they were there..didn't like two flares kill them

Whether you are joking or not I don't know, but I actually did die by a mudcrab once or twice.

I was just watching them to see there attack movements and before I could fight back I was already low on health. And with the difficulty all the way up I couldn't kill it in time. I observe mudcrabs from a distance from now on.

Of course they're in. If not what would NPCs talk about? RATS?! Can you imagine a Nordic tough looking NPC say, 'I saw a rat the other day, nasty little creature.'?!

Yeah it doesn't really make sense. Mudcrabs will always be a classic enemy. I just really hope that they are actually in because if they weren't I'd probably be pretty upset.

thank you, i was afraid i was the only one who pushed the slider all the way to the right as soon as i got the game.

"You face opponents who have never known defeat, who laugh in alien tongues at your efforts to survive. This is suicide."

i still get goosebumps when i read this, and i have since mastering it played every game on the highest difficulty. stuff that most people consider endgame equipment for kicks and giggles, were specifically necessary for survival to me.

Snowcrabs, fire-frost-shockcrabs, Necrocrabs, MountainCrabs

I think it's all possible and it would only take a few tweaks of the model to make it work.
