PLEASE ! change the design of dragons

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:30 am

Please change the design on the Dragons, who have already seen in the screenshots that run on the network make me think badly.
They do not seem wyverns dragons but have heavy limbs and stocky and short, stubby wings, and if your intention is to create breathtaking creatures, you should make with enormous wings (because more realistic) the beauty and majesty of a dragon not be judged by the size of fat body and muscular, but his wingspan is not wide-eyed leaving his quadricipidi.
Please Carofano Matthew least change the design of the wings, Akatosh in Oblivion looked like a cocatrix or a big rooster(in every sense :whistling:) you and your staff have an incredible creativity and a way of drawing lofty but please as skyrim is focusing on the dragons do not fulfill them as I see here

but this is the idea that I have of dragons.

And I will stop here
I chose not to be those in the photos because the design seems more consistent with the TES logo
If you believe that I am raving do a survey and maybe you feel like-minded others

PS.
The staff of Skyrim Board to review the film Dragonslayer (1981) could be an inspiration.
Always consider the anatomy of the existing creture and return it to the screen, is a formula that always wins;)
Matthew I believe in you.
Sorry for my english.

The dragons look amazing in my book, and I'm terrified of the day I have to fight one in first person.

Don't post magazine scans.
They've been working on the dragons for years and release in less than a year. I imagine they're pretty much locked in.

The pictures of the Skyrim dragons are better than the ones you provided to make your case. Bethesda knows what they are doing. The dragons look awesome. If you need to be realistic then think of them as being hollow boned.

Your second picture is a scan. You had better remove it fast!

(because more realistic)

So... you want the dragons to be... more... realistic? Last I checked dragons... aren't... real?

When I see a dragon with huge wings, the first thought that goes through my head is "He probably can't fly in a cave," not "Oh ****, oh ****, I'm going to die."

People fear muscle.

Yeah, they're really going to change something they have been working on for years and years.

The dragons look perfect in my book. I don't like the images you posted for what you want them to look like. Those types of dragons are boring. I want the ES dragons. Thanks.

Dragons being magical beasts don't need the wingspan of a B52 bomber to fly.

Or magic-boned (old high school nickname). Because they're dragons. They also speak an ancient dragon language which creates fire out of thin air.

How can you even say the phrase "more realistic"? How can you even decide what makes a fantasy creature realistic? Besides there dragons look fine, better than the ones you posted. And they said there were different types anyways so calm down.

Yeah.... cause dragons are real, ya know?

I think they have done, and are doing a fantastic job on dragons from what I've seen so far.

I much prefer the dragons they have now, the other dragons look a lot more like the stealthy type of dragons you would find in caves. Maybe they have more than one type of dragon since the whole game is based off of an invasion.

I will say that I love the way the Dragons look thus far. This morning I saw one of those pics for the first time and was really admiring how well done they are. That said, I like the larger wings. I have always liked dragons with large wings though, so this isn't a new thing. Reign of Fire was really the first movie that got the realistic feel of dragons right to me.

With large wings it makes you really believe that they are staying afloat like a bird would. If the wings are too small it has the potential to break your suspense of disbelief. I will say that it isn't a huge issue, but if the wings were to be increased I think that would be a subtle detail that would add to the finished product becoming a masterpiece of art. :)

This. The dragons I've seen from Bethesda are awesome, lets not find things to nitpick just because we are bored waiting for more information for Skyrim.

Did anybody ever play Monster Hunter, cos the wyverns on there were terrifying when you started out and IMO looked great.

It 'clear that the word "Relist"is understood as "probable. "
To Relist mean that follows a logical anatomy of the animal.
you could not get a dragon with stubby limbs and heavy and believe that it is likely that flights with short, stubby wings.
That's it.
Images on dragons, there are many online but I have chosen those for a reason.

"Moraelyn asked with a smile, 'All right then, I've always wanted to know this - considering the shape of your mouth and teeth, how do dragons manage to speak the humanoid languages so clearly?'

Akatosh paused, and then carefully responded, 'Why, in much the same way that we can fly, even though our wings are not naturally strong enough to support such heavy torsos.'"

It's clear that http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/relist means nothing: "relist- no dictionary results"

you could not get a dragon with stubby limbs and heavy and believe that it is likely that flights with short, stubby wings.
That's it.

You also couldn't get a fireball from your hand. The point? There's this thing called "Fantasy," see?

And The Elder Scrolls is fantasy. And their dragons look just fine.
