"Please Check Network Connectivity" - Log in problem

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 6:00 am

I would ask everyone to try it out!
I was able to login with my gamesas account and I just played an awesome match but I thought I owed it to everyone else here to post about it :)

I'm from Canada.

See you online! (Keepcase)

Keepcase, our problem don't allow us to log in, doesn't matter if we're using gamespy or gamesas account. I just don't understand why they're taking so long to solve it! About 1 month counting the demo....

Hey diabreu,

I had the exact same issue as all of you.
I could not login using my gamesas account (which I initially created through the game but the game hung on creating login prompt --I had to force kill the application)

When I would login I would get the Check Network Connectivity error when trying to use my gamesas credentials.

Today I was able to login using my gamesas credentials and I am now online!
I hope they are able to fix your issues as well; it must be a server-side issue.

What I'm thinking is that they are doing a server-side patch across a number of servers over time.
Where are you from? like I said, I'm from Canada and now I'm up and running

Well, Brazil over here. But looks like this isn't problem with location, since I have some braziliam friends with the same connection type, modem, and everything works fine, this is so random. And as I told before, this is not that hard to solve, they just have to change the method of logging in the servers.

Cry-Tom said something about, "try again later", well, im trying, almost 1 month straight...
He also said they don't have solution for this issue at the moment... well, let's wait more months, till Duke Nukem, Deus EX, BF3, Witcher 2, etc, comes out...

Complain will not solve, be quiet either... I'll stop raging.

Guess I just spent 60 bucks ( R$ 115,00 ) for nothing. This is sad, cos the single player, well, not even close comparing with Original Crysis, it's so ,so, so limited... and the main reason for most of us have bought this game is the MP and a lot of people ( thousand ) cannot simple log in. This should remain as a lesson for all of us. If something is running wrong in demos, betas, etc, it'll not work in the release, most by being a port.

I'll keep playing good MP games, like Starcraft 2, BF:BC 2, TF, and so on... and not waste my time trying to convince a company to do the job that they're payed for.

For the money spent, well, gotta keep working to receive the money, while some companies receive "easy money" not doing the job.

diabreu I'm from Brazil and I am having the same problem from the start with the beta.
Unfortunately I was stupid to have bought the game thinking they could get this connection error. How tragic, I hope they at least say something

thblack, Cry-Tom said something ( some posts ago ) about "this issue is one of our top priorities", can you believe it? I mean, since the launch of the freaking demo we're experiencing the same problem.

Ahh, é de foder com a paciência de qualquer um!

If it were a priority would have corrected it.
In other words I think it's an error with the mail they could change the server ip something.

thblack, not exactly, i did few tests and the problem is when tries to reach 61.10.30.242 ( i don't remember exactly ), if you try to log in and, at the same time run netstat -a they'll show you what I'm talking about. The question is, why?! Why this only happens with some people?
